Set on a prominent hillside Casa Lorian has unobstructed panoramic views over the Guadalhorce valley and the Sierra Mijas mountain range. The property has everything you need for either a leisurely or active holiday. The rental accommodation has just been completed to a very high standard and 2010 was the first year for rentals. To ensure complete privacy guests will be the sole occupants of the entire property during any rental period.

The fully air conditioned/heated rental accommodation is set on the ground floor of the villa and will sleep 6 persons. Comprising of 2 en suite bedrooms, spacious lounge with sofa beds and a fully functional kitchen.

With access to the airport (Malaga 30 minutes), Marbella and the sea (30 minutes) and Mijas (20 minutes), activities such as golf, fishing, horse riding, walking and mountain biking are some of the easily accessible activities available on your doorstep. Alternatively you may prefer to rest in its tranquil surroundings.. The villa is situated half way between Alhaurin and Coin (both 5 minutes) so a car is essential for shopping and accessing the local amenities.

The master bedroom has a double bed and fitted wardrobes. It has an en suite bathroom and patio doors leading directly to the pool terrace. The second bedroom has 2 single beds and fitted wardrobes. It has an en suite shower room and also has patio doors to the pool terrace.

The spacious lounge has 2 sofa beds and has its own fitted wardrobe. It has door access to the 2nd bedroom shower room. The lounge is fully equipped with TV, DVD and CD player . The open plan kitchen has breakfast bar seating for 6 and all the appliances you expect from a luxury villa. These include dishwasher, ceramic hob, fan oven with grill, microwave, fridge freezer, coffee maker, toaster and kettle. All cleaning applicances are also available.

A baby travel cot is available free of charge and other baby items can be hired at your own cost. We can arrange hire for you.

Further details outdoors

All rooms lead directly out to the swimming pool and patio. The private enclosed patio has an outside kitchen and charcoal BBQ. For Alfresco dining there is a 6 seater dining table and additional comfortable seating for relaxation. Within the outside kitchen there is a washing machine, work tops and sink. For those who like to listen to their own music an Ipod/MP3/CD music station with docking base is available on the outside patio.

The pool which is set in a fully enclosed private terrace and has gate access from the patio to help the safe supervision of children. The 12 x 6 meter pool has a walk in roman stepped shallow end and is large enough to swim comfortably. The pool terrace area is fully equipped with sun lounges and a gazebo for shade. It also has a 6 seater table and comfortable chairs. Another Ipod/MP3/CD music system is available on the pool terrace.

The 1 acre gardens are terraced and fully fenced for privacy and security. They are planted with mature flowers, fruit , fig, almond and olive tress. There is ample parking and the drive way has been laid in concrete and river stone. To ensure privacy the main access gate is electrically operated and when closed provides the necessary security. The access road from the main highway is tarmac to enable any type of vehicle easy access.

With Andalusia's excellent road and rail network, the region is within easy reach of Granada, Sevilla, Cordoba, Ronda and the many picturesque hillside towns and villages. Casa Lorian is ideally situated for exploring the real Andalusia away from the main tourist resorts and only 30 mins away from these resorts should you wish to visit them.

Alhaurin El Grande It is one of the most picturesque villages in the Guadalhorce river valley. Almost all the town streets are narrow and winding The rolling hills and wide open spaces give a feeling of space from all around the town. The town has excellent shops, restaurants, bars and other amenities that you may require on holiday.

Coín is one of the Andalusian towns that have yet to be touched by the tourist boom. It is just far enough from the coast to be out of reach of the high-rise hotels. The beautiful village of Coín is located at the cross-roads between Marbella and Mijas and is accessed by a brand new road network.

Alhaurin and Coín night life is good with something to suit all tastes, from traditional tapas bars and bodegas and good restaurants to modern air conditioned wine bars. You will find it far cheaper than in the major tourist areas and there is something for every age group. To its credit, this area is one of the few places close to the Costas that remains reasonably intact so far as 'Spanish-ness' goes. It is a place full of history and fame.

"Beautiful, safe, clean villa, ticks all the boxes in terms of pool, air con, wifi and comfort."

We have just spent a relaxing week at Casa Lorian with our two young children. The owners have tailored the design of the villa exactly to the needs of families e.g. all on one level, safe pool with steps at shallow end, en suite facilities, washing machine, dishwasher, air con, wifi and much more. The rural location is such that you need to have a hired car but the villa is very private and secure. As we were arriving late on a Saturday night the owners had been kind enough to do an initial shop for us of some basic foods given that the shops would be shut on the Sunday. This was such a nice touch and made our first day go really smoothly and gave us time to settle in and get our bearings.

"Superb in every respect"

Casa Lorian is a great find, located in the Hills above Marbella - half an hour from Malaga.
A car is essential to get to the location and all the surrounding attractions. Once there the area is incredibly beautiful, very peaceful and totally relaxing. The Villa is perfect in every respect, comfortable spacious bedrooms both with en-suite, great lounge and kitchen. The outdoor area, BBQ, Patio and pool area are superb. The additional benefit of wifi, iPOD docks and aircon make the Villa a Home away from Home. I would go back tomorrow to this superb Villa with everything you need to make a perfect holiday. A couple of local bars and a restaurant are adequate, for something more elaborate a run out to the local major town, or Marbella/Puerto Banus will provide something more stylish.

"Fabulous villa - can't recommend highly enough"

Casa Lorian is beautiful, the photos online cannot do it justice. The location was perfect for us, on the hillside with views over the valley, quiet and very safe. A pool is a priority for us, and Casa Lorian's pool is huge with excellent water quality. The villa itself is very comfortable and well equipped, everything being well designed and thought out. Arrangements with the owners were easy and friendly, and their reptresentative welcomed us at the gate and showed us around. We felt relaxed and at home immediately, and used the villa as a base for a fantastic holiday. We rarely ate out, using the barbecue and patio most nights then swimming in the pool until late and watching the space station go over in the clear sky.
Like most rural villas a car is essential but that would always be our choice and we found it easy to get to many places in the area.
We loved it - the best villa we have ever stayed in.
