Al Hamra Village, Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) is 45-minutes travelling by car from Dubai and it is the most northern emirate in the UAE. It is not as developed as Dubai which is its appeal. Indeed many people from Dubai now come to Holiday and for Weekends in RAK, because it is more relaxed and not over developed - they still have here Camels visible from the roadside. Our property is part of the Marina Buildings, located on the 4th floor, it directly faces the sea, and has a fantastic aspect from its long balcony. The apartment has been furnished to a luxurious standard with a quality arabic seating and huge super kingsize bedding. Al Hamra Village is a 5* Resort complex which is security controlled. It has some amazing nearby hotels, local shopping mall, 18-hole golf course, fine dining and many nearby restaurants, shops (including Spinney's - Waitrose Supermarket). They apartment caters for a maximum of 4/5 guests (the 5th person ideally a child). PLEASE NOTE WE ARE BASED IN THE UK, AS ARE THE KEYS, IDEALLY YOU SHOULD BE TO FOR ACCESS AND PROOF OF UK RESIDENCY.

The Ras al Khaimah region

The most northern emirate in the UAE, a 45 minute taxi ride from Dubai. Many nearby Shopping Malls (open till late) and superb beaches, swimming pools and luxury hotels nearby to the Resort. We are situated by the Marina and behind this it has an 18 hole golf course. It is a truely fantastic and luxury resort.

The apartment has been furnished to a luxurious standard with a quality seating and bedding. Al Hamra Village is a 5* Resort complex which is security controlled. It has some amazing nearby hotels, local shopping mall, 18-hole golf course, fine dining and many nearby restaurants, shops (including Spinney's - Waitrose Supermarket).

"If you like Dubai but find it expensive and busy, RAK could be just what you're looking for!"

This was a beautiful, spacious apartment in a good location. It had a large terrace directly facing the sea which provided the perfect place to watch the amazing sunsets. We had a car to get around but there is a shuttle service to all parts of the Al Hamra resort or taxis are plentiful and cheap. We'd recommend the Marina Club for evening drinks and dinner (happy hour 6pm - 8pm!) and also the Al Hamra golf club (happy hour 5-7pm). Both are great places to relax and have have lovely outdoor terrace spaces with amazing views. Sunloungers could sometimes be limited at the nearest pool but we found another pool at Royal Breeze a short walk away. We took a trip out to the Banyon Tree Al Wadi resort to watch the sun go down at the Moon Bar and we would highly recommend making the effort to go. In summary, RAK is a fantastic holiday destination and a much cheaper alternative to Dubai. The owners were superb every step of the way and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our holiday.
