The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The Costa Blanca with its wonderful beaches attracts millions of tourists every year.In the north the Costa Blanca starts with Denia and Javea two wonderful towns at the bottom of a mountain.In the south the Costa Blanca goes down to Guardamar and Torrevieja,with such beautiful cities like Elche,the palm tree capital of the world. You can basically travel along the Costa Blanca as the carretera national goes all the way alongside the coast. There are many attractions within the Costa Blanca some of them tailor made for tourists like the superb Terra Mitica at Benidorm which boasts exciting rides and attractions or for a more relaxing time the bays of Altea and Calpe. The climate throughout the year in the region is such that it allows for activities like bowls,tennis,horseriding,mountainbiking and many more all year round and you can also enjoy all the local markets and fiestas.
Algorfa / Algorfa Village area
ALGORFA is a small, friendly village with restaurants,banks,bakery, post office, butchers etc...In the centre is a beautiful Plaza with seats to take a time or two to watch the world go by. However if it's activity your after the village also boasts a swimming pool,open air football pitch, squash and tennis courts and a gorgeous secure park for the little ones. There is a weekly market for you bargain hunters! Only 5 minutes drive away is the town of ALMORADI with a large modern shopping centre and a market twice a week. ALMORADI also boasts clubs and bars for you night owls!!!! ALGORFA is only 10 minutes drive from GUARDAMAR with miles of clean white sandy beaches and clear waters. TORREVIEJA is also only a 10 minute drive away this a busy cosmopolitan town. ALGORFA is a fantastic base for the golfers with the prestigous La Finca Golf course only 5 minutes away. CAMPAMOR and VILLA MARTIN are approx 15 mins away. Within ALGORFA there are local shops for every day shopping but if you require the large supermarkets such as mercadona and Carrefour they are approx 10 mins away.
How to get there
Fly to Murcia or Alicante airports-Algorfa is 20mins from either airport via AP-7 toll road From Alicante-use AP-7 and come off at Junc 743 (Algorfa) on entering the village the apartments are aproximatley 500m on the right. From Murcia-use AP-7 and come off at junc 743 (Algorfa) on entering the village the Cecilia apartments are approx 500m on the right. Please note travelling from Murcia airport to Algorfa will incure a toll fee on the AP-7 approx 5 Euros Cheap flights available from Easy Jet/Ryan Air/BmI ect Car hire available at both airports or book online at www.premiercarhire.co.uk Local taxis are avilable or we can arrange a pick up via our keyholder either should cost no more than 20 Euros
