The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The Costa Blanca is the name given to the shoreline of the province of Alicante, the southernmost province of the autonomous region of Valencia. It is characterized by sandy beaches, jacuzzi-temperature seawater and bustling resorts like Benidorm or Villajoyosa, and has a hinterland which is largely unknown to visitors.
The Costa Blanca's main attraction is its fine sandy beaches, without forgetting the sea which goes with them. Its best scenery is to be found in the north of the province, in the Marina Alta and Marina Baja, where the the coast is backed by attractive mountains.
As you enter from the province of Valencia, the Marina Alta holds Teulada and its fishing port Moraira, interesting but backwater places (which may well be just what you are looking for), and also boasts Denia, a historic city with a splendid ruined fortress slap bang in the centre and the town of Jávea (Xŕbia in Catalan), a fishing port turned resort, said by the World Health Organisation to have one of the best climates in the world.
Algorfa / La Finca area
Algorfa lies on the banks on the Segura. One of Vega Baja’s citrus farming villages with a population of 1000, Algorfa is situated amongst lush and fertile countryside. Just outside the town is an unusual neo-gothic church that was built at the beginning of the nineteenth century and is worth visiting. Algorfa holds a market on Sundays.
Travelling further inland, we come to Benejúzar, a semi industrial town with 5000 inhabitants and then Jacarilla which is close to the Palace of the Marquis of Fontabla, with its extensive gardens. Next is Bigastro, an industrial town on the Segura, in the centre of the Vega Baja. Nearby is La Pedrera, a recreation area with mountain bike trails, walking trails along with barbeque and camping areas.
The towns and villages are within 20km of the service centres of Orihuela and Almoradi. The area is well connected to the main roads of the area. Alicante and Murcia airports are less than 50km away. La Finca Algorfa Golf Club at Algorfa is the nearest golf club to all of the towns.

Fly into Murcia or Alicante Airports(San Javier).(45 kms). Pick up and drop off can be arranged.€50 each way,maximum four persons.
