The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The Costa Blanca (White Coast) favoured by so many offering a host of beautiful Blue Flag beaches and with a healthy mediterranean climate and all year round sunshine fanned by cooling sea breezes. Alicante is a wonderful city with tree lined boulevards, sophisticated shops, a wonderful marina and many great Tapas Bars. There is also the castle at one end of the city which was built centuries ago to fend off the invading Moors. Other fantastic cities to explore include Murcia and Cartagena
Algorfa / La Finca area
La Finca, Algorfa is a golferīs paradise with not only the superb La Finca course literally on your doorstep but also numerous other high quality courses nearby. For those not of a golfing inclination, La Finca is a perfect base for a beach holiday with the fantastic blue flag beaches of the Costa Blanca all within easy reach. To discover the "real Spain" try exploring the nearby towns and cities of Alicante, Murcia, Elche, Orihuela and Pilar de la Horadada, each offering their own character and history. Then after a hard day why not come back, relax and unwind by the pool or try out the various local bars and restaurants. Within a 15 minute drive towards Torrevieja there is a huge range of supermarkets, a hypermarket, restaurants, bowling, cinema and water park and much more. By going into Torrevieja itself you will find the marina and beach and also many shops, bars and bustling night life. The area is set in the Orihuela Nature Reserve and is surrounded by Orange and Lemon groves. The large salt lakes of Torrevieja attract flamingos and a variety of wild birds.
