Alicante - one of the most important tourist destinations on the east coast. Benidorm - north of Alicante another important destinations for tourists on the Costa Blanca. Castellón de la Plana - home to the el Fadri belltower. Sagunto - a major attraction is a Roman amphitheatre built in the 1st century.
Gandía - has a number of historic buildings from the 13th century onwards. GUARDAMAR DEL SEGURA. Sited at the mouth of the Segura River, south of Alicante. Torrevieja is a busy town built up around the sea and the production of salt. For those looking for the night life, there are many places to go.
