About the home

Residential El Patio in the village of Algorfa is quiet and peaceful yet only 20 minutes drive to the nearest beach, Guardamar. Enjoyable day out. Surrounded by orange/lemon groves. Looking out of the lounge onto the balcony a table set for al fresco dining, the pool below awaits. With one double room and one twin bedroom the apartment is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

We are situated on the edge of Algorfa with stunning views of mount Escotera in the heart of the Segura region .The region has 300 days sunshine a year. The historic town of Orihuela is a short drive away where you see many types of palms. Just over an hours drive north is Benidorm with its bars, restaurants, and beachs. Plus its water park "Aqualand". To the south less than an hours drive is the golf and sports resort of La Manga.

The Algorfa area

Algorfa is home to the new La Finca golf course. [www.golflafinca] Bookable via e-mail to caddie@ golflafinca.com.The village has Tapas bars, restaurants, and the local Bodega were you can sample the wine before you buy. Next door we have the Alquibla restraurant and 5 minutes walk away is the La Ermita both selling traditional Spanish food. In July / August all the local villages including Algorfa host the most fantastic festivals with floats, music, dancers, and fireworks, they are not to be missed.

Budget airlines flying into Alicante include Ryanair / Easyjet / Flybe / ba.com most also fly into Murcia which is 45 minutes from Algorfa. Car hire is available at both airports via Eurocar , Avis car hire to name a few. From Alicante airport follow the road out of the airport until you come on to the "A7" (Spanish Motorway) signposted Torrevieja north, follow road until you come to a sign for "A37" take this road, follow it until you come to junction "743". Go over 2 sets of roundabouts and follow for 4kls, you will come to a set of traffic lights. You are in Algorfa. Drive over these lights and El Patio is 200m on the right.

“Perfect relaxing holiday will definitely come back next year!” Appartment well equipped and comfortable. Village nice and quiet with bars and The Vestry restaurant is excellent. Beaches at Santa polo nice and quiet. Also El Gusto and lets eat in nearby... more

“Good location for touring this area of spain” Very nice clean apartment and well kept grounds and pool area. Jenny & Martin on site very helpful and full of local knowledge. Stayed in April so it was very quiet. The small town square is only a couple of minutes stroll away with tapas bars and a few restaurants. Lots of nice beaches to visit only 20 minutes drive and plenty of nice places to go sightseeing along the coast. Golf course close by as well.
