About the home

This 1st floor apartment is in a quiet area in a small gated community, the lovely pool is only 3 minute walk and is only for use of the immediate surrounding properties, which makes it generally very quiet. It has a large rooftop solarium, great for summer barbecues and includes sun beds, table and chairs and large umbrella. The championship golf course 'La Finca' is within walking distance or a few minutes drive which also has a fantastic bar and restaurant making it ideal for golfing break, a new complex with bars/restaurants and shops by the same company that built Villamartin. There is plenty of parking space at the property as a car is essential. Only 10 minute drive from Algorfa and Los Montesinos where you will find a varied selection of bars, restaurants and shops. The town of Torrevieja itself is just 15 minutes drive away, with Guardamar and Ciudad Quesada even nearer. The towns have a number of bars, restaurants, clubs, shops etc. Plus lovely promenades, several beaches, street markets and a marina

Guardamar Beach 10 minute drive

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

With golf courses, beaches, water sports, Tennis Club, Safari Park, horse riding, shopping and general sightseeing all within a 15 minute drive. There are four cities within an hour's drive - Alicante to the north, Elche to the north west, Murcia to the west and Cartegena to the south. Two major international airports are close by - Alicante and Murcia's San Javia - both within 40 minutes drive. Set within the La Finca Golf Course complex there and 4 more championship Golf Courses within 15 minutes drive from this property making it the ideal location for a golfing holiday. Green fees average £25 - £40 for 18 holes. There are 11 more courses within an hours drive. Open all year.
This is an area where there is plenty to do for both golfers and non-golfers alike and only 5 minutes from A37 motorway. Set amongst the orange & lemon groves of Los Montesinos the scent from the blossoms fills the air. There is a communal pool just 2 minutes from the Apartment.

There are two cities within 40 minutes drive - Alicante to the north is one of the most well known towns along the Costa Blanca, with it's wonderful boulevard, with palm trees and long alleys for nice relaxing walks and shopping. Alicante is starting point for thousands of tourists every year. Famous for its excellent weather, miles of sandy beaches and with many historical buildings around the entire city. Alicante offers countless sightseeing attractions, from cathedrals to churches and of course a wonderful harbour area. The city invites you to take a trip along the coast or to the wonderful island of Tabarca. Additional to sightseeing, directly from the harbour area a long wide sandy beach leads its way up to San Juan. Just drop your towel in the sand and enjoy a wonderful day in the sun.

Torrevieja is an old fishing town, with its own harbour and small fishing fleet, market and funfair. There are restaurants by the sea and a new development with Hypermarket, Bowling, Cinema, Amusements and a selection of restaurants just outside. Bounded by the beautiful Mediterranean on one side and thousands of acres of fruit groves inland, the scenery is breathtakingly beautiful and within moments you can be driving in picturesque open countryside, where Trips to Alicante (promenade), Elche (park of palms), Murcia (Gardens, theatre), Cartagena (Roman settlement), Mar Menor (inland sea), La Manga and hiking in the mountains are all within an hours drive on modern roads with little traffic.

“Perfect Apartment, Perfect Golf” In need of some R&R we stayed for a week in May this year and couldn't recommend La Finca highly enough. The 2 Bedroomed apartment was welcoming, very well equiped, freshly decorated and spacious. Some days we played Golf at La Finca course a couple of minutes drive, other days we packed up to go the nearby Beaches - Captains Beach at Cabo Roig is our favourite, or went visiting the nearby spanish villages and towns for shopping or the markets. The communal pool was a minutes walk away within the gated area and was amazingly clean, with fabulous views and a welcoming breeze. It was great to have such a modern, clean base to explore the area and generally relax. Amazing to be able to watch english soaps and sport on the TV, or chill with a DVD. We often plugged in our Ipod and took it up onto the totally-private rooftop solarium at the end of the day, before showering and popping out and walking to a nearby restaurant or bar. New Consuma supermarket 5 mins drive away for all your groceries, but there is an onsite shop selling newspapers, basics and gorgeous fresh bread each day to take to the Beach. The beds were comfey , the lounge area very cool and comfortable and the bathrooms beautifully equipped. The aircon was welcome if we were in during the day and very effective. We will bring friends with us next time for the 2nd bedroom. Cannot recommend it enough, the Agents took care of us very well. Thank you!

We can also supply cot and Highchair hire at 20 euro a week each.
