The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

This area of the Costa Blanca is not only a quiet location to unwind but is perfectly located for exploring the local areas.
Guardamar 15 minute drive lovely beaches and traditional Spanish resort.
Torrevieja 20 minute drive very busy sea side resort with a large port and shopping centre where you will find favourites such as McDonalds, KFC and Burger King.
Orihuela 20 minute drive an inland historical town with loads of charm.
Elche 30 minute drive inland and steeped in history with remains dating back over 2000 years.
Santa Pola 30 minute drive and very popular for the Spanish holidaymakers with a port, lighthouse and spectacular scenery.

Algorfa / La Finca area

Algorfa lies on the banks of the river Segura situated amongst lush and fertile countryside and is one of the Vega Baja’s citrus farming villages. Over the last few years the population of the village has swelled to nearly a thousand as the area has grown in popularity due to the new properties that have been built attracting people to the location.

The ‘La Finca’ 5 star championship golf course was completed in 2002 and a new club house and 5 star hotel with spa facilities opened in 2009. Villas and apartments have been built on the course making a very ideal setting for holidays and for people residing on a more permanent basis. There are some beautiful views of the local mountains and countryside. At the entrance to the golf course there is a number of good quality restaurants mainly serving English foods but the restaurant in the hotel offers some fine international cuisine, there are a number of bars where you can watch the football and listen to live entertainment. You will also find banks, supermarket, gym and a beauty salon.

A ten minute drive will take you to Quesada where there is a fantastic choice of bars, restaurants and shops. Almoradi is a traditional Spanish village located about ten minute drive from Algorfa and has a good choice of tapas bars and a little further afield is Guardamar del Segura which is a very popular resort on the sea and at the mouth of the river Segura and is a 15 minute drive from Algorfa. Here you will find shops, bars, restaurants and supermarkets in abundance, the beaches stretch for miles and are questionably Costa Blanca’s finest with wide soft sandy beaches served by beach huts and surrounded by sand dunes and a pine forest.

How to get there

Alicante and Murcia airports are in easy reach and are served by BMI Baby, Easyjet, Jet2, Monarch, Ryanair and Thompson.

Balance is due 4 weeks prior to arrival plus refundable breakages deposit (returned within 2 weeks of your departure subject to satisfactory property inspection).
