A fantastic home away from home! This apartment is a bright, modern apartment, with plenty of space to accommodate a larger group or family. The property has everything you could require to ensure your holiday runs smoothly. The roof has a large sun terrace with fantastic views out across the ocean. This large terrace allows you to have some quiet sun bathing away from the beach where you would have to compete with other holidaymakers. It also offers a fabulous setting for some evening dining whilst watching the sunset. The apartment also has two other balconies. One is large enough to fit a table and chairs for more intimate al-fresco dining or sunbathing.
The property has four large bedrooms that offers plenty of light, air and space that induces a sense of tranquility and allows you to benefit from fantastic levels of rest and relaxation. The lounge is large with comfortable furnishings. There is also a dining area to entertain guests with a more civilised dining experience.

The Sardinia region
Alghero is steeped in history dating back to the early Stone Age. Alghero descends from the Catalan period and still hold its traditions in the language that is spoken by the locals & the food. The local dish is Paella in Alghero. Alghero has two of the largest vineyards in Italy producing two of the most well known wines in Italy. Sella Mosca & Santa Maria Palma. Sella Mosca has a daily tour of the wine cellars & a small tasting afterwards, defiantly a tour to take for all those wine buffs........& it is free. Additionally the car rally "coral tour" starts & finished from Alghero, normally with a great attendance. You can hire bikes & scooters, golf carts from the port. There are a lot of "Agro tourism" (restaurants) available in the local area that will allow you taste traditional foods that have been reared or grown on the land. Also dotted in the smallest of places, are all the beautiful old churches, included is the beautifully coloured dome of San Michele which can be seen from most places of the Old town. Around most corners you will find piazzas with bars & small cafe to enjoy a small break as you wonder around the winding streets shops. The large church that dominates the bastions is well worth a visit. If you don't fancy seeing the sights all on foot there is a "Catalan Train" that can take through as tour to save your feet. This leaves from the port. The port holds over 2000 boats now, private & well as charters. We have Cruise liners that dock also. The boat trips from the port are Neptune’s Caves, See dolphins, snorkeling & diving, the coastlines of Alghero have some of the best diving in the world! The evenings you can dine in a full variation of restaurants, go dancing in some clubs, walk the passagiata with an ice cream, go Karting, bowling, set up camp in bar for the night.... the choice is yours. Alghero beach...Lido is the rated No: 2 out of the 345 beaches throughout the whole of Sardinia! It is long and sandy, warm, shallow & safe. The umbrella area have the services of a shower, toilet, life guard, some have small bars attached too. There are some small rocks as a water break to head for, for the better swimmers, you can hire pedalos, canoes, kayaks, have floats & banana chairs to sit in, some section have children's toys, slide, swings & houses to play in included in the beach price, or simply while away days on the sun loungers under an umbrella trying to decide which ice cream to have later. Pinetta area is a short walk or 5 min drive -this is an area that is covered by pine trees & this has sand dunes for sitting in & playing on.
Alghero area
The area has various festivals that pretty much last all year long. This all starts with the New Year and lasts up until Christmas. Aside from the bigger festivals there are various smaller celebrations constantly occurring so you should be able to indulge in some authentic festivities whatever time of year you decide to have your holiday.
New Year- a fantastic firework display & music that is free and is located over the port Easter parades & services in the churches. May Bank holiday (Fairs in the port) 15th August Bank Holiday (Ferrogosto) September- Coral car Rally starts & finished from Alghero 29th September- Saints Day in Alghero large port fireworks display & street stalls Christmas celebration starting from around the 10th with stalls, lights & Christmas tree going up
How to get there
Alghero is serviced through Ryanair directly from the Stansted, Liverpool, East Midlands, Dublin, Stockholm & Main land Italy. 2 flights in the summer 1 in the winter. Alghero is 15mins drive from the Fertila airport. New information for 2009 that Alghero will becoming a hub and extending its flights to Paris( Mar09), Brussels (Mar09), Bologna (Dec08), Genoa(Apr 09), Oslio (Apr 09) & Venice (Mar 09). The airport has alot of car hire options or there is a taxi rank right outside. Or even the bus that comes straight to the centre of Alghero. Ferries arrive at Porto Torres from Genova an overnight sail, Alghero is 45 min drive from Porto Torres. Chartered flights out of Gatwick in to Olbia ( c 1 hour drive away)

The front balcony has garden table & chairs, the opposite smaller balcony has area for drying washing & keeping towels for the beach. Internal & external space will accommodate a large group quite comfortably
Further details
Minimum of 4 people You will be met at the property by an English speaking person & will have them as a point of contact in the case of an Emergency. The person will also check you out of the property. A damage deposit is to be left with the person on check in of €350 that will be returned to you on your departure.
Check out by 12noon every property.
Late checkout is to be arranged when booking .Late checkout is charged at 70 Euros.
