The apartment has a spacious living room with a small kitchen, a bathroom, two bedroms and a small terrace where is possible to have lunch or dinner. The apartment is very well situated to have a sea holiday in summer time, but is also a good startig point to go on excursions, hiring a car to discover nature , archeology and the ancient culture of Sardinia in all season.

The Sardinia region

Sardinia is a very attractive island for the beautiful beaches and coasts , it has a very various ladscape in inland and a very interesting ancient history. You can visit and discover here incontaminated places, mountains, cliffs, grottoes,walking paths along the suggestive coast, small islands, natural reserves to protect rare animals like deers, muflons or white donkeys.. but also medieval towns. ancient churches and monasteries and above all incredible archeological sites called NURAGHI dating back to the Bronze Age, rests of a very ancient civilisation unique of Sardinia and recognized World heritage by UNESCO. You can taste many typical fish specialities , but also pasta, pizza and specialities of roasted meat and sheep-cheese of the local production. The climate is very mild also in winter time with average temperature in winter between 12 and 14 °.

Alghero / Lido area

Alghero is a beautiful middle-age town with fortified walls, a very pleasant little town to relax, to walk along the beautiful promenade along the port, the bastions and the sea, to go shopping in the interesting shoes, cloths and jewels boutiques.
It's the ideal starting point to go on excursions and discover the unknown culture of the island, having in the surroundings so many attractions: Nuraghe Palmavera (old tours dating back to the bronze age), burial chambers of the neolithic (necropolis of Anghelu Ruiu ), archeological museum of Sassari, natural reserve of the Noah's Ark, Promontory of Capo Caccia with the Neptune Caves and many others. I am a professional tourist guide and I can give you the information that you need depending on your own interest.
In Alghero are especially interesting the religious processions of the Holy week at Easter, and there are in Sardinia very attractive festivals for Carneval, in february and in May where it's possible to admire the richness of our traditional costumes and folklore.
In alghero there are of course also several beautiful beaches.

How to get there

Attractive apartment, five minute walk from beach. there is a terrace with table and chairs, a living room with all comforts, a kitchen, a bathroom and two bedroom, it suits a family with 2 adults and two or three children. We are located very close to the beautiful beaches of Lido and of Maria Pia, at 1.5 Km from the centre of the town which you can easily reach with our bikes at your disposal. The apartment is quiet, comfortable and well furnished.We are at the seconf fllor wth lift.
