About the home

The apartment “Sunny” is located in a quiet residential area with parking, near the park Manno. The best white sand beaches of town are 10 minutes on walking away (San Giovanni’s beach and Lido’s beach) while the other white sand beaches located out of town can be reached by 10 minutes on by bus (bus stop is closer the apartament) or by car.
The apartment is located at the 1st flloor of a new building in a quite area of the Alghero's centre, in Cellini street at the corner with Goceano’s street, few minutes on walk to the historical centre, Valencia’s promenade, touristic harbour and other attractions of town. Closer to markets, restaurants, shops and pub. Air condition in each bedroom, completely furnished , with everything you need (T.V.sat, hi-fi system, DVDplayer, kitchen utensils, Italian Coffe maker, toaster, juicer, meat grill, gas cooker, refridgerator, freezer, washing machine, iron, hair dryer, etc.
The apartment is composed by two bedrooms (two single beds/king size beds on request for each bedroom), the biggest one with a sunny balcony), a living room with corner kitchen well furnished and bathroom.
All the facilities are completely furnished.

Alghero is a lovely city of about 40.000 inhabitants located in the Northwest of the island of Sardinia, that combines the charm of its beautiful coast, its magnificent Gothic quarter, its defined particular personality, its port, its light and its quietness.

The Sardinia region

For holidays, much of Sardinia’s appeal lies in its beaches and landscapes, with its miles of coastline dotted with sand dunes and juniper woods. Inland the terrain is rugged, and sheep outnumber people. The island feels very different to the mainland, with different dishes and architecture. The Emerald Coast is the main resort – with its picturesque pink buildings and beautiful coastline.

Sardinia is an island in which you can find the right place for the summer holidays in Europe. White sand beaches, the sea with the colours of the Caribbean one, the history, the cuisine, the traditions and many other things. 3,5 hours of flight from Stockolm, 2,5 hours from London, 1,5 hours from Frankfurt. No jet lag problems for reaching a complete different reality in the south of Europe.

The Alghero area

The particular feature of Alghero is that in the past this town was a colony of Spain where the prisoners of Catalunya were moved. The ancient walls on the sea, the typical streets that have still the name in Catalan language, the Neptunus Caves, the Natural Park of Porto Conte with its wild animals, the white sand beaches, the typical cuisine and so on...

Alghero's town is connected to many italian and european cities by several airliners, easily reached with direct Ryanair flights from London Stansted,Liverpool,Nottingham, Dublin,Frankfurt, Dusseldorf and many more.
Ryanair also flies daily into Alghero from Spain and more routes from Europe are planned,check their website on www.ryanair.com for more updates.


Ferry services operate daily from several ports on the mainland that connect Porto Torres,Olbia and Cagliari.
Bus and Taxi service available at the airport.

There are several car hire companies to choose from on arrival, like Hertz, Europcar, Avis and others.

The island is perfectly communicated with many countries of Europe thanks to its 4 airports and its ferry connections with Italy and France.
