The Sardinia region
Have you been in Alghero? If no - you haven't seen PARADISE. Present infinitely dark blue sea, gentle yellow sand, noise of a surf...Morning tea on a verandah, noise of a surf, a magnificent landscape. The panorama of all coast opens directly from windows of your apartments. The best holiday. Summer. Sunshine. Possible to swim from Aprle till October.
Alghero / Lido area
There are a lot of historic places. There is grot of Neptun, and a lot of places in the centre of Sardinia such as Nuragics... Nuragic Culture (XVII Cent. B.C. - IX Cent. B.C.). There are more than 7000 nuraghi in Sardinia. Nuragic religion was naturalistic, and water cults were extremely important, which explains the presence of well temples. The "Tombs of the Giants" were megalithic graves, whereas "bronzetti" are characteristic decorative or "ex-voto" small bronze statues, which portray different subjects (warriors, animals, votive boats...).
