The Sardinia region
Sardinia is one of the big island in the Mediterranean. It’s between Italy and Spain. There are few people who live in Sardinia and there are still wild places.
Its climate is very good all over the year in fact the temperature is always mild a part from Aaugust which is the hottest month (30/35 degrees).
You can’t miss visiting some of the 7500 Nuraghi spread all around the Island and tasting the Pane Fresa o Carasau (a very thin and crunchy bread which is one of Sardinian peculiarities) and Sardinian cousine and obviously drinking its wines which are famous all around the world.
Alghero is a very beautiful town and not far from it you can visit a stunning cave (the Neptune’s Grotto), the unique Nuraghe Palmavera (a prehistoric sites) and Anghelu Ruiu ( a necropolis).
From Alghero you can reach Stintino and admire its marvelous beaches, Castelsardo (a medieval small town) and Sassari (the second biggest town in Sardinia ) going north-bounds.
Bosa (another medieval small town), Tharros ( Fenician and Punic ruins), Oristano going south-bounds.
Alghero offers all you want: it has all you need if you are alone, with your partner, with your family, with your children and with your friends.
If you say Alghero, it's all. Google for it. You'll be surprised!
Old Alghero is caraterized by its walls; Romans, Carthaginians and Catalans have all come and gone. Alghero's cobblestone streets can be explored on foot.
Don't miss the spectacular sea cave: Neptune's Grotto and The Nuraghe Palmavera (dates back to 1100 BC).
Catalan is still spoken by its inhabitants.
Alghero offers an irresistible combination of history, architecture, culture, stylish shopping, fine food and wine and water sports.

"Pleasant stay in Alghero"
The accomodation is accurately described by the owner in the property description. Its on the top floor but there are only 2 flights of stairs which didn't bother us. Its a few minutes walk to the sandy beach and a lovely 20 min walk along the prom to the delightful old town.
Anna-Rita collected us from the airport and gave us a warm welcome (as well as cakes and a cold beer). The accommodation is very spacious and clean with a lovely balcony which gets morning sun and evening shade. Both bedrooms are a good size, the lounge/dinner very comfortable. The kitchen is perfectly adequate and has all the cooking and storage facilities you would need. The bathroom was fine although the shower curtain took a bit of negotiation so as not to flood the floor but still perfectly useable. We stayed in mid June and it was just starting to get hot and I'm sure it must get quite warm in July/Aug. The only thing lacking with the accomodation is a decent length mirror (there's just a small head high one in the bathroom). It doesn't have aircon but that wasn't an issue for us in June but I did notice a moveable fan in the apartment. We both enjoyed our stay and felt that the accommodation would also have been great and comfortable if our group size were bigger as one room had 2 twin beds (sleeps 2) and the other 2 bunk beds (sleeps 4).
I would certainly recommend this accomodation and the resort.

"never again/plus jamais/no otra vez"
perfect cleaness and good wellcome
but nothing more:
not electricity power enough
not water power enough
old bathroom to renovate
old furnitures (sofa particulary)
3rdand last floor without elevator
internet does't work well and not of our fault, our teenager knows perfectly how works internet and we choose this flat because of internet and price but :
price a night : 35/40 € a night but very expensive imposed cleaning : 50€!
we only could stay 2 nights instead of 3 booked because of car problem but the owner charged us of 150€ euros!!!for such a flat it is too much!!!however, we didn't want to stay longer....
the "caza vacanze" nearby : 60euros a night !
that is not what expected for holidays
Dear Guest thanks for staying at our place and for writing your comments.
We appreciated them in fact nobody ever claimed the things which have been observed.
About the old furniture and the old bathroom to be renovated: they are clean and still in good conditions to be used further.
Regarding the power of electricity: it normally happens when a lot of electric devices are used at the same time.
The power of water: we showed you where the tap was and how to open it.
Internet did not work properly: it worked well when we were there and we explained you how to use it.
We do say in the advert that there is a fee for the final cleaning.
We suggested to contact us for any problem but you didn't.
We apologize if your expectations and needs were not satisfied.
We will do the best to avoid such complains in future.

"Great fully equipped as at home apartment close to the beach"
It was great from the start owner of the apartment picked us up at the airport. Then showed us an apartment and told us where to shop. She welcomed us with an ice cream and drink and explained everything what we needed to know. The apartment is at great location 100metres from closed beach and city od Alghero is 30minutes by foot. I have never see so well equipped apartment there were basic toaletries as shower gel, shampoo also everything for cleaning, gas stove, microwave, kettle, toaster, plenty of pots and pans.Salt, sugar, pepper, olive oil, these basic thing that you need in the kitchen plus iron. We were very happy to stay there. And what more to say Sardinia is so gorgeous. I had seen such a crystal clear water with white sand just on Key West. And it is very good for small children as water isn´t deep. We went with our 1,5 year old daugter. We do not go to one place twice but we said once we will come back.

"A warm welcomes goes a long way"
What a better way to start your holiday than being collected from the airport? On arrival at Alghero airport my mother and I received a very warm welcome from the owner of the apartment 'Anna Rita'. When we arrived at the apartment Anna Rita kindly showed us around and had orange juice & cakes for us (nice touch as we had an early flight), she provided us with tourist information, map, taxi numbers, which was great. The apartment itself is very spacious, with separate kitchen, sitting room, balcony, and two bedrooms, one of which sleeps two and the other sleeps four. What was great about this apartment is we didn't have to drag everything over on our flight, as it had a fully equipped kitchen (oven, stove, toaster, microwave, Kettle, kitchen utensils), Iron,TV, hairdryer, etc. Also provided were essential toiletries, towels, coffee, tea, sugar, etc. It is situated a very short walk from the beech, some local restaurants and a super market and not too far from Alghero historic centre. When our holiday ended we were collected by Anna Rita and brought to the airport, which we really appreciated. All this was included in the price Anna Rita quoted and made our holiday great value for money and overall a lovely stay in Alghero. As the saying goes 'It's the little things that make the difference'.
