"Terrazza Zaccaria" is located in the heart of Alghero city centre inside a suggestive ex-monastery of 1600. It has a private terrace , furnished with table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco.Ideal for a romantic dinner under the stars or energic breackfast before a day at the beach.

The terrace has an amazing view to the see, the Gulf of Alghero, the old city roofs and domes, Fertilia.

The apartment can be connected by an internal door to flat next to it, so it can host up to 2 person to 5 guests booking the both apartments. Ideal for two couples, a for a family or a gropu of friends.

The apartment has an equiped kitchnette and a bathroom with shower.

The view from the two windows is on the internal yard of the building, with a good perspective on the ancient roofs of Alghero and on its gardens.

The streght point of "Terrazza Zaccaria" apartment is its special position close by the to the most nevralgic places of Alghero: the old market, the harbour, the ancient towers “bastioni” ; and few metres walking from a beach in rocks.

Thanks to this special location It´s very easy to walk the short distance to the seafront bars or further into the town along the cobbled streets. If in the evening you want to have a walk in the centre you don´t need the car..just go down the stairs!

Alghero centre in the evening is full of life, with several bars in front of the see, an evening open craft market, and a large choice of restaurants of high quality (from slow food restaurants to simple pizzerie); beside this the apartment is silent and deep in the charme of an ancient monastery.

We would be glad to host.

The Sardinia region

Sardinia is not only a paradise blessed by a warm climate with rocky coasts, white sandy beaches, clear sea waters, stunning sunsets. It’s also a region rich of cultural heritages where nature, history and prehistoric monuments blend together makinge Sardinia special and unforgeatable.

Alghero

Alghero has catalan origins and still hold its traditions in the dialect spoken by locals. Churches, buildings, narrow streets, walls that in the past made the town a fortress today make the city centre picturesque and fascinating.

In the evenings the city is very alive and safe: you can have a dinner in front of the see, go dancing, listen to a jazz concert at Poco Loco, have a walking in the nighty market or a cocktail in front of the see or the harbour.Have a dinner in the top restaurants: Andreini (1Michelin guide star ), Al Tugur, il Pavone or in a slow food restaurants: La Botteghina, il Refettorio.

Don't miss to have a look in the fancy Antonio Marras Fashion Show Room and in the Jewellries specialized in corall craftworks.

For sport lovers: bike renter Raggi di Sardegna just 2 minutes walking. In few Km two diving centers for snorkling and diving (Capo Galera diving e Diving Porto Conte). The coasts of Alghero are alive and part of them are protected.

For wine lovers Alghero has two big wine pruducers: Sella Mosca & Santa Maria Palma. They produce the well known wine : Vermentino di Sardegna. You can have a visit to the wineyards, the cellers and have a taste of the production for free.

"Fantastic terrace!"

This was our third visit to Alghero and even though it rained much more this particular visit, it was still the same wonderful and charming Alghero. The apartment was very cozy and had everything you need, but the terrace and location are why we chose it. The terrace gives you almost 360° panorama views of the old town and some of the sea. Its a nice spacious terrace with room for a large table, etc. The kitchen has all the cutlery, pots and pans needed. You have a view of the small courtyard from the kitchen windows, including some beautiful lemon trees. The only drawback for me personally was the futon-bed. A normal back would probably be ok on it but for someone like me with an extremely bad back, it was pure torture because I could feel the metal bars. I would have been better sleeping on the floor. But other than that it was just perfect. The apartment itself is in a former closter and it's very peaceful and beautiful. If you go to the opposite end of the hallway you come out to a large terrace and there you can have a nice view over the bastioni. Erica who checked us in an out was so nice and we had actually met her the visit before when we rented bikes from her shop in the old town.
I would definitely stay here again if I could.

"Very nice apartment at a great location"

Cosy apartment at the best location in the old town. We had breakfast and dinner at the private roof terrace almost every day, great views and privacy. Quite simple kitchen but it has what you need for a week´s holiday. Thanks to the thick stone walls and windows, indoor temperature is ok even without air condition. The owner was very helpful and friendly.
