The Carboni Residence sits in a peaceful spot away from the tourist areas, only a couple of minutes stroll to the seafront. You will get a true taste of Sardinia here - with fresh panini, juicy steak and fresh, fabulous fruit all available from local shops on the surrounding streets.
With three bedrooms and two bathrooms - one ensuite - the apartment will suit holidaying friends, couples and families alike. It is the perfect place to enjoy a Sardinian break both in and out of season with a wealth of things to do, see and enjoy on your doorstep.
The apartment is beautifully and tastefully furnished and comes equiped with everything to make your holiday special. With a large balcony off the sitting room, and a balcony off the main bedroom, the apartment feels very clean, bright and spacious.

Close to the sea. A beautiful 10 minutes walk along the coastline to old town.

Sardinia is the second largest island in the Mediterranean but the least inhabited. During the year there are approximately 300 days of sunshine making it a great holiday destination both in and out of season.
The area around Alghero also provides plenty of opportunities for day trips and the best known of these is undoubtedly the cave complex of Grotta di Nettuno (Neptune's Grotto). It is one of the most breathtaking in Italy and located only 15 km to the west on the peninsular of Capo Caccia.
To the north of Neptune's Grotto, the abandoned mine at Argentiera is recognised by UNESCO as an important example of industrial archaeology in Sardinia. Further on at the north western tip of the Island, Stintino is renowned for its stunning beaches - often voted the best beach in Sardinia.
Heading south from Alghero, a trip along the remote coastline of Oristano leads to the interesting medieval town of Bosa and its beach resort at Bosa Marina.
The area surrounding Alghero also contains several important prehistoric sites. Nuraghe di Palmavera is the best preserved nuraghic complex in the region and the older Anghelu Ruju, near Alghero airport (Fertilia), is a necropolis consisting of around forty burial chambers.
Whether you want to spend your holiday relaxing on a beach, soaking up some Italian culture of sampling fine foods and wines - Alghero has it all!
The Alghero area
Located on the north west coast of Sardinia, Alghero with its thriving marina, and a wealth of beautiful beaches, has become a popular holiday destination in recent years and yet still retains its distinctive Catalan character.
Alghero is recognised as the most Italianesque of the holiday resorts in Sardinia with its old walled town on the sea front containing a labyrinthic network of narrow lanes, most of which are free from vehicles. These play host to numerous hotels, bars, cafes and restaurants that preserve Alghero's reputation for excellent seafood - it is a foodie's paradise.
The Italians also love children and welcome them in restaurants making it a great place for families.

Ryanair fly to Alghero from the UK which is the nearest airport. There are other airlines that fly to other parts of Sardinia but the drive once you get there would be further.
From Alghero airport the transfer time is approx 20mins. There are numerous car hire companies at Alghero airport including Hertz as well as a taxi rank. Local buses will also take you into the centre of Alghero.
It is also possible to get a ferry there from various European ports.

We have just returned from a 10 day stay in Alghero. Emma couldn't have been more helpful whilst we were there. The apartment is minutes from the sea front and a brilliant beach bar. The weather was beautiful and very hot. Alghero is a fantastic place to stay with lots to do for all ages. There are loads of restaurants in Alghero to visit but we also ate at the apartment a few nights because the balcony is huge and it was lovely to just chill out and have a few glasses of wine. I would definitely return to Sardinia as the scenery and the people are lovely and the apartment is very convenient and is about a 10 minute walk to the town along the sea front. Very relaxing holiday, we all came back totally chilled out . Thankyou Emma for letting us stay at your apartment, we will definitely return some day soon. |

Please call for additional details on rentals. We are generally flexible on length of stay - particulary off peak, and special deals are available for longer lets, repeat lets etc.
The price also depends on the number of people per rental.
There is also a £300 security deposit required which will be returned within two weeks after your holiday as long as no damage is done.
