Villa Pasithea (the Greek Goddess of rest and relaxation) offers you the chance of complete rest and relaxation in a very homely atmosphere in a small village. The villa sleeps 10 and is a brand new, (Nov 2011), 4 bed villa with private pool. Furnished to a very high standard with local furnishings and fittings to fully compliment the overall style of the villa and enhance your Cyprus holiday experience. All bedrooms have balconies and either pool view or views of the valley. Located on a very small estate perfectly positioned to enjoy the stunning views and tranquility of the quiet and traditional village of Alethriko. Just a short walk will take you to either of the 2 Taverna's which offer local and international cuisine in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere and at very reasonable prices. Supermarkets etc nearby and just 10 minutes drive to the very cosmopolitan town of Larnaca where you will find a wide variety of restaurants, great shopping, culture, history and sandy beaches. Villa Pasithea offers the perfect combination to ensure a perfect holiday.

A larger than average 4 bedroom villa with the great advantage of a corner position which enhances the overall design and layout of the interior. A group of 10 people can easily enjoy the villa without it feeling crowded.

All rooms within the villa are very spacious and have been furnished to a very high standard. All soft furnishings have been carefully co-ordinated and the windows & doors all have stylish black out blinds for your comfort.

All rooms have air conditioning with individual controls.

Further details outdoors:
Villa Pasithea has landscaped gardens to the front and side and a large rear terrance with private pool. Surrounding the pool there are sun loungers, very stylish rattan furniture and a great BBQ!

The rear patio and pool enjoy long days of sunshine so the private pool is a necessity! There is also a poolside shower.

Pool towels are provided and are included within the rental.

To enable you to start your holiday from the minute you arrive, a grocery welcome pack is available. List the items of your choice i.e. water, milk, bread, butter, cereal, fruit, eggs, fruit juice, tea, coffee, beer, wine etc. and they will be in the villa waiting for you-beers and wine will be in the fridge! Your holiday starts from the minute you arrive!

Our property manager, Angela, who is English, lives near by and is always on hand to help and advise on local tips, directions etc,etc. She will meet you othe day after you arrive to give local information and to assist you generally throughout your stay should you need anything. Maps and guide books are provided in the villa.


OWNER PROFILE:

Pasithea is the Greek Goddess of rest and relaxation, which is why we chose the name for our lovely villa. What could be more appropriate!

Villa Pasithea is owned by two English couples, Venetia and Rick Peet, and Carol Rowe and Chris Bradshaw, who all live and work in Hampshire. We are very proud of our beautiful Villa in Alethriko, and hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Alethriko is a lovely and peaceful village, and is only a 15 minute drive from Larnaka International Airport. There are excellent local tavernas and a superb, well-stocked supermarket is only 10 minutes drive away. Villa Pasithea is ideally sited to visit Larnaca, with its excellent beaches and cosmopolitan atmosphere, and the Troodos mountains are only an hour away, and the beach resorts of Aya Napa and Protaras only 40 minutes away. Of course the wonderful Cyprus climate, with 340 sunny days a year on average, was a big factor in our decision to buy here! We know you will enjoy a relaxing stay in Villa Pasithea - it is just a great place to chill out and unwind.

Conditions

To secure your booking, a booking deposit of £200 for each week or part week booked is required, the final payment is due 8 weeks before your arrival.

Refundable security/breakages deposit of £200 required with final payment, to be refunded within one week of your departure.

We can accept payment by cheque or bank transfer.

The Larnaca region

Larnaca is a very cosmopolitan town offering everything you need for a fantastic holiday. It is often un-appreciated by those who don’t know any better, who think it is merely home for the islands main International Airport.

Larnaca boasts a beautiful promenade lined with palm trees and pavement cafes, a marina full of multi-million pound yachts and boats, boat trips, scuba diving, world-wide cuisine, great shopping (Zara and Mango are here!), sandy beaches, water sports, good nightlife, history, culture and tradition. In addition to all of the things Larnaca its self has to offer it is perfectly placed on the island making it an ideal base from which to explore the rest of the island.
Larnaca Airport 15mins, Nicosia (the Islands Capitol city) 40mins, Limassol 25mins, Ayia Napa 45mins, Paphos 1 1/2hrs, Troodos Mountains 1 hr.

The Alethriko area

Alethriko is a tranquil village situated in a valley surrounded by pine trees, an ideal retreat for those wanting to totally relax. The village is reknown locally for its panoramic views and tranquility where only the birds break the silence.

The village centre is a short stroll away where you will find the locals in the coffee shop playing backgammon, a supermarket, church and two local tavernas. For those who enjoy walking there are tracks leading up to the top of the hills of the valley to admire the breathtaking sea view to one side and the panoramic views over the valley on the other.

Villa Pasithea is 1km from the centre of the village and just a short walk to the nearest taverna-15 EUR for a massive meze (big mix of dips, grilled meats, salad and Cypriot traditional dishes.). Lots of other tavernas within 15 minutes' drive to many of the nearby villages or a 15 minute drive down the coast to Zigi or Makenzie for a fabulous fish meze.You are spoilt for choice and certainly won't go hungry!!

Larnaca town has several sandy beaches with sun beds, umbrellas, water sports, scuba diving, snack bars and restaurants. Other quiet beaches which are ideal for a picnic are 10 mins drive.

Nearby attractions include:- Just 5 minutes drive away is the recently opened Olympic standard shooting range in Klavdia, (hosts to the European Championship Shotgun event which is run by the European Shooting Confederation), Lefkara, a traditional lace making village, Mazatos Animal Park, Ten Pin Bowling, Cinema and Go karting........something for every body.

The beauty of Alethriko is that while the village is so tranquil and idyllic, it is only a 2 minute drive to the main motorway and centrally placed on the island so anyone wanting to explore the many things Cyprus has to offer can do so with ease.

The perfect recipe for a perfect holiday – you won’t want to leave!!!
