About the home

An outstanding villa in every aspect-designed and constructed to a very high specification and superbly furnished.

Seren Villa occupies a double plot to provide an enormous outdoor area for the 10m x 5m infinity pool and surrounding terrace which is very generously and tastefully furnished for relaxation and dining.

A dream 4 bedroom holiday villa perfectly situated in a peaceful village. The south facing pool and terrace are bathed in sun from morning until evening and there is a gazebo with rattan table and chairs for outdoor dining. There is also a multi-gym, treadmill and 2 mountain bikes for our more energetic guests!

The leisure facilities and all indoor furnishings are of the very highest standard to ensure that our guests have a luxurious and unforgettable holiday in a homely atmosphere. The open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen are all very modern and spacious and give easy access to the rear terrace and pool.

All bedrooms have balconies with either pool or open views.

A perfect choice for wedding accommodation.

Seren Villa was originally designed, built and furnished for the owners and their family hence the finish and furnishings really are so much more than you would expect of a typical holiday villa.

The open plan lounge is very spacious and has a corner white leather sofa and plush designer sofas for your comfort. The 42" TV is wall mounted which has Satellite TV, a DVD player and Nintendo Wii and a selection of games. An i-pod docking station is also provided. There is an office area for those who need it and a solid wood dining table and chairs with complimentary furniture and ornaments.

The fully fitted kitchen has all modern appliances plus an American style fridge/freezer and a water cooler.

All bedrooms have balconies with either pool or open views....the views from the master bedroom are very scenic.

Family bathroom with bath/shower over, wc, designer wash basin/taps and fully tiled with decorative tiling.

En-suite bathroom to master bedroom with designer shower, wc, designer wash basin/taps and fully tiled with decorative tiling.

There is a cot-bed, high chair, stair gate and a selection of toys for our guests who have small children.

In addition to the standard facilities there is also a multi-gym, treadmill and 2 mountain bikes for our more energetic guests!

All rooms have air conditioning.

The enormous rear terrace comfortably accommodates the 8 sunloungers, 3 giant umbrellas and the luxury gazeebo, outdoor dining furniture and the gas BBQ. The perfect setting for any party, in particular a summer party or a wedding party!

There is an outdoor pool shower, pool towels are provided and included in the rental.

Gardens are landscaped with palm trees, aloe vera and a selection of other Mediterranean plants and trees.

A pool alarm is provided for our guests with young children.

One of the biggest advantages Seren Villa has over and above other villas is it's enormous outdoor area and infinity pool. It's perfect for families, a group or a couple looking for something very special-ideal for wedding parties, honeymoons or other special occasions. A perfect choice for wedding party accomodation.

To enable you to start your holiday from the minute you arrive, a grocery welcome pack is available by arrangement. List the items of your choice i.e. water, milk, bread, butter, cereal, fruit, eggs, fruit juice, tea, coffee, beer, wine etc. and they will be in the villa waiting for you. Your holiday starts from the minute you arrive!

Our property manager, Angela, who is English, lives near by and is always on hand to help and advise on local tips, directions etc,etc. She will meet you othe day after you arrive to give local information and to assist you generally throughout your stay should you need anything.

Conditions

To secure your booking, a booking deposit of £200 is required, the final payment is due 8 weeks before your arrival.

Refundable security/breakages deposit of £200 required with final payment, to be refunded within one week of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).

The Larnaca region

Alethriko is a very tranquil, scenic and friendly village situated within a large pine tree valley, an ideal retreat for those wanting to totally relax. The village is renowned locally for its panoramic views and tranquility and is often referred to by the locals as "The Hollywood of Larnaca"!!

The village centre is a short stroll away where you will find the locals in the coffee shop playing backgammon, a supermarket, church and two local tavernas. For those who enjoy walking there are tracks leading up to the top of the hills of the valley to admire the breathtaking sea view to one side and the panoramic views over the valley on the other.

Seren Villa is 1km from the centre of the village and just a short walk to the nearest taverna-12 EUR for a traditional meal which includes a vast selection of starters, local dishes, a big mix of grilled meats and salad. Lots of other tavernas within 15 minutes' drive to many of the nearby villages or a 15 minute drive down the coast to Zigi or Makenzie for a fabulous fish meze.You are spoilt for choice and certainly won't go hungry!!

Larnaca town has several sandy beaches with sun beds, umbrellas, water sports, scuba diving, snack bars and restaurants. Other quiet beaches which are ideal for a picnic are 10 mins drive.

Nearby attractions include Lefkara, a traditional lace making village, Mazatos Animal Park, Ten Pin Bowling, Cinema and Go karting........something for every body.

The beauty of Alethriko is that while the village is so tranquil and idyllic, it is only a 2 minute drive to the main motorway and centrally placed on the island so anyone wanting to explore the many things Cyprus has to offer can do so with ease.

Larnaca is a very cosmopolitan town offering everything you need for a fantastic holiday. It is often un-appreciated by those who don’t know any better, who think it is merely home for the islands main International Airport.

Larnaca boasts a beautiful promenade lined with palm trees and pavement cafes, a marina full of multi-million pound yachts and boats, boat trips, scuba diving, world-wide cuisine, great shopping (Zara and Mango are here!), sandy beaches, water sports, good night-life, history, culture and tradition. In addition to all of the things Larnaca its self has to offer it is perfectly placed on the island making it an ideal base from which to explore the rest of the island.

Nearby attractions include:- Just 5 minutes drive away is the recently opened Olympic standard shooting range in Klavdia, (hosts to the European Championship Shotgun event which is run by the European Shooting Confederation), Lefkara, a traditional lace making village, Mazatos Animal Park, Ten Pin Bowling, Cinema and Go karting........something for every body.

“Awesome” we travelled from New Zealand and stayed at the villa with 7 adults and 2 young children, one a baby. Everything was just perfect. clean, well equipped and tidy. The pool was a great addition. Away from it all is what you need, then stay hear for piece and quiet. Would go again.

“Perfect family holiday retreat” Seren is a beautiful villa, finished to a very high standard with some lovely touches that make it a comfortable place to stay. It is obvious that the owners have decorated it with their own family in mind which is lovely but I am not sure that our 22yr old son appreciated spending his holiday in the Barbie /Princess pink room! (I don't think it has scarred him). The local area is easy to navigate but still being developed so amenities are sparce and a car is essential as the two local shops are expensive, although there are a couple of tavernas within easy walking distance. The area is ideal for a quiet getaway but Seren's generously sized swimming pool makes it ideal for family groups aswell (so much so that it's hard to tear yourself away from it to explore the rest of Cyprus!). Alethriko is only about 15 minutes from Larnaca airport which is a great transfer time via car but is far enough away not to be on flight a path so no aircraft noise to disturb the peace. The villa manager was very helpful and friendly from the moment we booked (Thank you Angela). Can't really praise it enough. Wish we were still there!

“Lovely Villa” Excellent villa, large open plan living area. Large bedrooms with air con and fans provided. Excellent outside space with beautiful large warm swimming pool, plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas, great barbeque, and a lovely covered seating area. Loved the location just outside the busy tourist area of Larnaka. Would use again.
