About the home

"The Palms", a brand new modern 4 bedroomed villa, is at the end of a small luxury development and has glorious panoramic views of the valley. The pool and terrace are bathed in sun from morning until evening and there is also a covered area for those who prefer shade, or for outdoor dining

The equipment and furnishings are of the highest standard to ensure that our guests have a comfortable and unforgettable holiday in a homely atmosphere. The open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen are all very spacious and give easy access to the rear terrace and pool.

Due to it's prime location on the edge of the development, all rooms and balconies offer glorious views and a perfect view of the magnificent sunset and the moonrise.

"The Palms" is fully air-conditioned and has ceiling fans in all rooms. The bright and airy decor and layout enhance the comfort of the villa which is suitable for groups, couples or families.

All bedrooms have balconies with balcony furniture. The lounge has patio doors that open out onto the front landscaped garden and enjoys views of the hills, the dining room and kitchen also have patio doors that open out onto the rear terrace and pool.

A slow cooker, picnic hamper and cool box are provided so that you can enjoy a day out at a remote beach or in the mountains and return home to a cooked meal!!

All rooms have roller or vertical blinds of "blackout" quality, essential to allow a lie in or reduce the summer heat.

In addition to Satellite TV, there is a selection of games, puzzles, books, guide books and maps.

Pool towels are provided.

Two hairdryers are provided (all plugs are three pin 240v if guests prefer to bring their own or other small electrical appliances).

Surrounding the large private pool there are sunloungers with cushions, chairs, a poolside shower, a gas BBQ and outdoor dining tables and chairs for 8 people.

An additional feature of this villa are the unique shutter style doors that close the rear entrance of the villa and makes the outside area suitable for shaded dining or relaxing, at the same time allowing a welcoming breeze. It also gives extra security for families with small children.

One of the biggest advantages "The Palms" has over most of the nearby villas is it's quiet, prime location on the edge of the development which promotes the glorious views of the valley and the stunning sunset....."The Palms" has so much to offer so whether you are a family, a group or a couple looking for something special "The Palms" is the perfect choice.

To enable you to start your holiday from the minute you arrive, a grocery welcome pack is available by arrangement. List the items of your choice i.e. water, milk, bread, butter, cereal, fruit, eggs, fruit juice, tea, coffee, beer, wine etc. and they will be in the villa waiting for you. Your holiday starts from the minute you arrive!

Our property manager, Angela, who is English, lives near by and is always on hand to help and advise on local tips, directions etc,etc. She will meet you othe day after you arrive to give local information and to assist you generally throughout your stay should you need anything.


We advise our guests to book their car hire from the UK because it is much cheaper than if booked in Cyprus.

Conditions

To secure your booking, a booking deposit of £200 for each week or part week booked is required, the final payment is due 8 weeks before your arrival.

Refundable security/breakages deposit of £200 required with final payment, to be refunded within one week of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).

The Larnaca region

Larnaca is a very cosmopolitan town offering everything you need for a fantastic holiday. It is often un-appreciated by those who don’t know any better who think it is merely home for the islands main International Airport.

Larnaca boasts a beautiful promenade lined with palm trees and pavement cafes, a marina full of multi-million pound yachts and boats, boat trips, scuba diving, world-wide cuisine, great shopping (Zara and Mango are here!), sandy beaches, water sports, good nightlife, history, culture and tradition. In addition to all of the things Larnaca has to offer it is perfectly placed, making it an ideal base from which to explore the rest of the island.

Larnaca Airport 15mins, Nicosia (the Islands Capitol city) 40mins, Limassol 25mins, Ayia Napa 45mins, Paphos 1 1/2hrs, Troodos Mountains 1 hr.

PS In Cyprus they also drive on the left!!

The Alethriko area

Alethriko is a tranquil village nestled in a valley surrounded by pine trees, an ideal retreat for those wanting to totally relax. The village is reknown locally for its panoramic views and tranquility where only the birds break the silence. It isoverlooked by the majestic Stavrovouni monastery high on its isolated peak.

The village centre is a short stroll away where you will find the locals in the coffee shop playing backgammon, a supermarket, church and two local tavernas. For those who enjoy walking there are tracks leading up to the tops of the hills to admire the breathtaking sea view to one side, and the panoramic views over the valley on the other.

"The Palms" is 1km from the centre of the village and just a short walk to the nearest taverna-12 EUR for a traditional Meze (dips, grilled halloumi cheese, mix of grilled meats, salad, potatoes and fruit). Lots of other tavernas are within 15 minutes' drive in the nearby villages, or a 15 minute drive could take you down the coast to Zygi or Makenzie for a fabulous fish Meze.You are spoilt for choice and certainly won't go hungry!!

Larnaca town has several sandy beaches with sun beds, umbrellas, water sports, scuba diving, snack bars and restaurants. Other quiet beaches which are ideal for a picnic are 10 mins drive

The beauty of Alethriko is that while the village is so tranquil and idyllic, it is only a 2 minute drive to the main motorway and centrally placed on the island, anyone wanting to explore the many things Cyprus has to offer can do so with ease.

Nearby attractions include:- Just 5 minutes drive away is the recently opened Olympic standard shooting range in Klavdia, (hosts to the European Championship Shotgun event which is run by the European Shooting Confederation), Lefkara, a traditional lace making village, the neolithic settlement at Khirokitia, Mazatos Animal Park, Ten Pin Bowling, Cinema and Go karting........something for every body.
