Flintstone Cottages are a collection of 5 newly converted light, airy and modern self-contained holiday let apartments based only 2 miles from Chichester and 5 miles from Goodwood House. These apartments have been converted to a very high standard from the out buildings of the Victorian Flint knapped Sussex Farmhouse.

The 5 apartments combined offer beds to sleep a total of 22 people (11 couples)

In addition, each unit provides a King-size sofa bed so naturally this can be ideal for an additional couple or children and therefore utilising these, sleeping accommodation could be provided for a maximum of 32 guests.

Flintstone cottages would be ideal location for a large family group wishing to meet up (whilst still retaining an element of independence) or alternatively, booked as a convenient rural base for an individual or couple to have a quiet get away.

Open Barn style parking is available adjacent to the apartments and the apartments are very secure and private being half a mile down a remote farm track towards the Railway; yet very close to Chichester and the surrounding amenities and attractions.

All our units have “Free Sat” television, DVD player and free Wifi

The Barn is the most characteristic of our self-catering apartments. Occupying the west end of the Farmhouse this delightful accommodation has been converted from the old barn. On the ground floor there is King-size bedroom, luxury bathroom with shower and bath and an open plan vaulted living/ kitchen area. The Barn features a well-equipped modern kitchen, wall mounted TV, Free Sat, Large Sofa with integrated King-size sofa bed, woodburning stove and The Diana Dors* stained Glass Window. Chichester today is a local government stronghold, with three levels of government being administered there. It is the centre for culture in the region, with a Festival theatre and two art galleries. "Lovely modern conversion with thoughtful touches. Would recommend."

I can’t fault this place. A modern (new) conversion decorated to a very high spec with lots of nice touches. The Barn shares the estate with several other holiday-lets as well as the owner’s property, but has been laid out in such a way that you have privacy despite being in a communal arrangement. The owners are very friendly and helpful and have given a lot of consideration into ensuring you have an enjoyable and comfortable stay. I thought the addition of fans in the bedrooms was a really nice touch during hot weather and the Wi-Fi and a smart internet-TV ensured the kids were happy! One thing to point out is that there is a train-line running past the rear of the property, however these are infrequent (as far as I noticed) and do not disturb the tranquillity of the place. You will really need a car if staying here as the location is fairly remote, however there’s plenty to offer within a 20minute radius by car (West Wittering beach, Arundel, Chichester & marina, Tangmere museum to name a few). Recommended!
