Coastguard Court is a small converted courtyard complex of modern self contained apartments. It is situated at the marina end of Aldeburgh High Street, just one minute from the beach. Aldeburgh’s shops and restaurants and famous fish & chip shop are just a couple of minutes walk away.
Number 1 is a one bedroom, pleasantly furnished ground floor apartment. The entrance through the courtyard, leads to a spacious lounge/dining room, with a colour TV, DVD player and music centre. There is a fully fitted kitchen with electric cooker, hob, microwave and refrigerator

The East Anglia / Suffolk region
Characterised by its flowering lanes and colour-washed Suffolk pink cottages, the Suffolk Coast and Heaths has retained much of its unchanged character. It has a population of approximately 23,500, and has no large towns but includes medieval market towns such as Aldeburgh. There are increasing numbers of resident commuters working in Ipswich, Felixstowe and Lowestoft. The rural economy is based on agriculture and tourism.
Visitor activity is centred around Aldeburgh and Southwold, towns that offer a traditional seaside experience, and in smaller towns and coastal hamlets such as Orford, Dunwich, Bawdsey and Walberswick. The booming popularity of watersports has brought considerable leisure usage to the Stour, Deben, Blyth, Ore and Alde estuaries. The area has three long distance footpaths: the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Path, the Stour and Orwell Walk and the Sandlings Walk, which opened in 2002.
Aldeburgh area
Aldeburgh is a charming, traditional seaside town. It is unspoiled and has changed little since an earlier age. There is a traditional boating lake for model yachts, local museum, and historic 16th-century moot hall. The town is attractive, and has many independent shops. The fishermen still draw their boats up on to the shore and sell fish from the beach. Aldeburgh is the home of the Famous Music Festival held nearby at Snape Maltings. Don’t forget to try Aldeburgh’s famous fish and chip shop.

Coastguard Court is a peaceful setting but with fast and easy access to all the facilities of Aldeburgh. It is perfect for exploring Suffolk and its Coasts and Heaths.
Further details outdoors: After a relaxed stroll along the seafront to the newsagents, enjoy the morning sun on the patio area outside of the lounge. Perfect for a quiet coffee and a read of the newspaper.
