Part of Aldeburgh's award winning Church Farm development Curlew House has the convenience of a modern property but was specifically designed to display the charm of an older style cottage. Spacious and well equipped this comfortable house has been recently refurbished. The main living room has SKY TV with DVD/video player and there is an additional sunroom and study/reading room, giving plenty of space to relax and have a quiet moment. There is a downstairs bedroom suite with double bedroom, shower room and separate sitting room with sofa bed (making a + 2), SKY TV with DVD/video player and sofa. The other four bedrooms are on the first floor and are all pleasantly decorated and well furnished. To the rear of Curlew House you will find a private garden with sun terrace which can be accessed via the French doors in living room as well as from the sun room. There is off road parking for three cars on the front driveway with additional road side parking. A small supermarket and traditional public house are just a few yards away.

The East Anglia / Suffolk region


The acclaimed Arts and Music Festival is staged yearly at the nearby Snape Maltings Concert Hall attracting many famous names and visitors. Venturing further afield the delights of the Heritage Coast are all within easy reach, most notably: Southwold, home to the Adnams Brewery, working lighthouse and Art Deco pier; Orford with its 12th century castle and oystery; Thorpeness Mere and boating lake; Walberswick with the RSPB nature reserve at Minsmere and Woodbridge, a beautiful market town situated on the river Deben.
The Aldeburgh area
Aldeburgh's High Street offers an interesting mix of shops, high quality restaurants, art galleries, an independent cinema and even an award winning fish and chip shop! There is plenty to do for all ages; tennis, golf, sea and river sailing or a gentle walk along the glorious pebble beach. Picturesquely set on the East Suffolk Heritage Coastline, Aldeburgh is best known for its connections with the composer Benjamin Britten.

From the A12, north or south, exit onto the B1123 to Aldeburgh and follow road straight through to Aldeburgh Town. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit to the Church Farm development. Take the first right turn into Barley Lands, Curlew House can be found approximately 200 metres on the right.
