Situated on Suffolk's Heritage Coastline Aldeburgh is a well known and popular holiday destination.
There are notable places of interest nearby: Sutton Hoo, the Anglo Saxon burial ground and museum; Snape Maltings, the famous concert hall and complex associated with the composer Benjamin Britten; Thorpeness Mere and 'House in the Clouds' and the RSPB reserve at Minsmere. Other coastal towns such as Southwold, Aldeburgh, Dunwich, Walberswick and Felixstowe will make interesting excursions, all with lovely beaches. So much to do and so little time!
Aldeburgh area
Aldeburgh is famous for its association with the composer Benjamin Britten, founder of the annual Music and Arts Festival held at the nearby Snape Maltings Concert Hall as well as The Aldeburgh Carnival in August, the recently installed 'Scallop Sculpture' by artist Maggie Hambling and of course the award winning fish and chip shops in the High Street. Lovely strolls along the beach or beach path can be enjoyed as well as picturesque drives out to other nearby towns and villages of interest including; Thorpeness, Orford, Dunwich, Walberswick, Southwold and Woodbridge.
How to get there
From the A12, north or south, exit onto the B1123 to Aldeburgh and follow road straight through to Aldeburgh Town. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit, still heading to town centre and on to Victoria Road. At the T junction turn left onto Wentworth Road and follow to the end. You will see the driveway for Sundial House and Sundial Cottage directly in front of you. Please use the two parking spaces to your left marked with a 'C'.

Bedroom one has a double bed, wardrobe and bedside tables; bedroom two has twin beds, wardrobe and bedside table. The family bathroom has a corner bath, overhead shower, WC and wash hand basin. French doors in the living room give access to the patio where you can enjoy a BBQ or alfresco dining.
