The East Anglia / Suffolk region
Picturesquely set on the East Suffolk Heritage Coast, Aldeburgh is best known for its connections with the composer Benjamin Britten. The annual acclaimed Arts and Music Festival is staged at the nearby Snape Maltings Concert Hall attracting many famous names and visitors. Other nearby coastal towns of interest include Southwold, Dunwich, Walberswick and Woodbridge.

How to get there
From the A12, north or south, exit onto the B1123 to Aldeburgh and follow road straight through to Aldeburgh Town. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit, still heading to town centre, Victoria Road. Oposite the Church on your left turn right into Alde Lane, turn left onto Park Lane and first right into Fawcett Road. Pickney House can be found on your right approximately 200 yards down.
