There is a delightful living room with feature fireplace and SKY TV with DVD/video player, a charming kitchen/dining room with large pine table for group meals and private garden with patio furniture and BBQ for al fresco dining. All the character and charm of this enchanting house has been retained as has the name 'Pickney' which is Caribbean slang for happy children!

Second floor; one triple bedroom (1 Double and 1 single bed), one single bedroom, one twin bedroom and separate shower room.

The East Anglia / Suffolk region
Picturesquely set on the East Suffolk Heritage Coast, Aldeburgh is best known for its connections with the composer Benjamin Britten. The annual acclaimed Arts and Music Festival is staged at the nearby Snape Maltings Concert Hall attracting many famous names and visitors.
Other nearby coastal towns of interest include Southwold, Dunwich, Walberswick and Woodbridge.
The Aldeburgh area
Just a short walk will bring you to the beach and High Street where you will find an eclectic mix of shops, high quality restaurants, traditional public houses, art galleries, independent cinema and even an award winning fish and chip shop.
Aldeburgh appeals to all age groups, there is a thriving sailing community, two local golf courses, tennis courts and a cookery school as well as the popular Aldeburgh Carnival held every year in August. Venturing further afield the delights of the Heritage Coast are all within easy reach, most notably: Southwold, home to the Adnams Brewery, working lighthouse, Art Deco pier and super sandy beaches, Woodbridge, a beautiful historic market town situated on the river Deben, Orford with its 12th century castle and oyster, Thorpeness Mere and boating lake, Dunwich, Walberswick and the RSPB nature reserve at Minsmere

From the A12, north or south, exit onto the B1123 to Aldeburgh and follow road straight through to Aldeburgh Town. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit, still heading to town centre, Victoria Road. Oposite the Church on your left turn right into Alde Lane, turn left onto Park Lane and first right into Fawcett Road. Pickney House can be found on your right approximately 200 yards down.
