Just a short drive will bring you to Aldeburgh's beach and the sea where you will find plenty to do, perfect for family seaside fun. The interior is tastefully furnished with a spacious drawing room with feature marble fireplace, an elegant dining room with seating for 14, a breakfast room and a sunny day room all of which have French doors leading out onto the south facing terrace. You will find SKY TV with DVD/video players in two reception rooms and a well equipped kitchen with adjoining breakfast area with dining table and chairs. The seven bedrooms, two with SKY TV, all have views to the gardens and are comfortably furnished and pleasantly decorated. After an invigorating day on the beach or exploring the town guests can return to Heath House for a pre-dinner game of croquet or drink on the terrace.

The East Anglia / Suffolk region
Located on the Suffolk Heritage Coastline. Picturesque drives to nearby coastal towns and villages must be taken; Southwold, Woodbridge, Dunwich, Orford, Thorpeness and Walberswick to name but a few. 6 miles north of Heath House is the Minsmere RSPB reserve and a few miles south Sutton Hoo, the Anglo Saxon burial ground.
Aldeburgh area
Aldeburgh's High Street has numerous high quality restaurants, many individual shops, traditional public houses, an independent cinema and award winning fish and chip shops. There is a super pebble beach which is home to the famous 'Scallop Sculpture' by the artist Maggie Hambling and the Fishermans huts selling the local catch of the day. With its golf course, tennis courts, cookery school and sea and river sailing the town has something for everyone. Aldeburgh is noted for its close association with the composer Benjamin Britten and was the backdrop for many of his operas, nearby in the village of Snape you will find the world famous Snape Maltings Concert Hall where the Aldeburgh Music and Arts Festival is held annually. Lovely strolls along the beach or beach path can be enjoyed followed by a refreshing glass of the local Adnams Ale.
How to get there
From the A12, north or south direction, turn off for Aldeburgh and follow road straight through to Aldeburgh town. At the roundabout take the first exit; Leiston Road. Follow this road for approximately 2 miles and once past North Warren on your left look out for Heath House on your left (approximately 500 yards) There is a footpath sign and triangle of grass visible from the road. Turn left onto private road, Heath House drive way is the first on your right.
