A cottage set in stunning 11 acre grounds leading down to the river Alde where you can swim and kayak. Pets welcome and you can walk them straight from the door. Wonderful wildlife.
A cottage for those who will appreciate the natural beauty of this delightful Suffolk Heritage coastal scene yet still be only five minutes drive from Aldeburgh's High Street with its award winning restaurants, inns, shops, cinema and the sea.
The cottage is approached by a private lane leading from Saxmundham Road; ample parking.
Own front door.
All the accommodation is on ground floor level.
Spacious living room (7.88m x 4.22m) with views of the garden and river, comfortably furnished for easy seating and dining.
Light and airy bedrooms, one double bedroom (4.18m x 3.33m) , one twin bedroom (3.34m x 2.3m) and one single (3.34m x 2.3m). A folding bed is also available.
Bathroom with WC, washbasin and shower over bath (1.55 x 1.6m).
Compact and well equipped kitchen.
Free Wifi.
Well behaved dogs are very welcome.

Aldeburgh is a traditional East coast seaside town. It has a Summer Theatre which has productions nightly over the summer months, a long beautiful beach, two of the best fish and chip shops in Britain and its festival that runs in June.

If you are a keen to learn to sail then the yacht club has tuition on the River Alde or you can watch the many races on weekends throughout the Summer.

Just 15 minutes drive from the RSPB bird reserve, Minsmere, and in the heart of the Suffolk Heritage Coast, Beaver Cottage is a wonderful place to experience it all whatever the weather.

“Stunning location within walking distance of the seafront.” Beaver Cottage is attached to the owner's Cob House and is situated in over 11 acres of grounds leading down to the River Alde. The cottage could do with updating but it is comfortable; the kitchen & bathroom are very small and at colder times of the year, is rather chilly. The real gem of this accommodation are the grounds. Debbie & Tony generously allow guests to share their interesting garden as well as allowing access to the woodland below. The views are spectacular and I imagine summer stays would really benefit from the private and shared gardens. Dogs are welcomed and ours enjoyed exploring all the smells outside as wildlife is plentiful.

“Beautiful and peaceful location, close to river beach, lots of outdoor fun!” We spent a week here in August with 3 children aged 8, 2 and 10 months and had a wonderful time. Tony and Debbie were really welcoming and helpful. The kids had a great time with plenty of things to do around Aldeburgh for sunny and rainy days. We loved having access to the private beach for swimming, kayaking, playing and bbqs and the kids had a large area to explore safely. It was especially good for sitting out with the kids until bedtime so managing to enjoy evenings and a glass of wine by the river with beautiful views with just a short walk back to get the kids to bed. We would definitely come here again as we really enjoyed our week and thought the garden and views to the river were fabulous.
