Old historic walled town of Alcudia with amenities is less than a mile away. Alcudia water park is approx 3/4 of a mile away. Pollensa town with its winding streets, ancient churches and famous 365 steps leading up to one of the many churches also Puig de Maria with years of history can be reached by car/bus, then on foot to the monastery and with breathtaking views approx 20 mins drive/ bus ride away.
Can Picafort with its pavement cafes and competition go-carting track approx 15 mins away.
English-speaking representative will meet you on arrival and is on hand to answer any questions.
50% deposit is required via bank transfer to secure booking. The balance is paid upon arrival at the resort.
A breakage deposit is requested upon arrival either 200 euros or £150, this is for any damage made to the property or its contents. To be refunded upon departure subject to no damage occurring.
The Mallorca/Majorca region
Puerto Alcudia is situated in the green north of Mallorca. Your journey from the airport to the north via the new road linking Palma and Alcudia takes you across the fertile agricultural centre of Mallorca.
Running parallel to the Tramuntana mountain range your journey takes you past the towns of Inca with its popular old wine cellar restaurants serving traditional dishes and busy with locals and Sineu alive on Wednesday mornings with the island's most traditional market.
The Alcudia / Port Alcudia area
As your holiday base Puerto Alcudia caters for all holiday needs. Worth visiting also are the unspoilt spots of Bacares, just behind the old town of Alcudia, Mal Pas and the rocky beaches out on the road through Bonne Aire ideal for snorkelling.
Alcanada golf course is situated just a short distance from the apartment. Alcanada is a top category golf course, an unrivalled setting and a first rate design. The terrain gently slopes down towards the shoreline, with its pine, olive and oak trees and the mountains of the Sierra de Levante in the background. Alcanada is the only course in Mallorca that is right by the sea and has a spectacular view across the bay of Alcudia
A pleasant drive along the bay to Pollensa well worth a visit, and climb the mountain road to Formentor with dramatic landscape brings you to the most northerly point of the island at Cap de Formentor with its lighthouse and on a clear day you can see Menorca In the opposite direction take the winding mountain road and visit the former monastery of Lluc where you can hear daily at 11am, the choir Els Blauets

Popular Mallorca is serviced by most budget airlines with Easy Jet being probably the most regular and convenient www.easyjet.co.uk.
Puerto Alcudia is situated in the calm north of the island and easily accessible via the new road linking north and south, app 40 km's/45 minutes drive time.
A car is useful but not essential to both take the short journey to Puerto Alcudia, and to visit the many beautiful locations all round this superb family holiday location. Particularly recommended is Hasso Rent A Car www.hasso-rentacar.com who will meet you at the airport and take you to their showroom/collection point just 5 minutes away.
Should you not wish to hire a car then the service of Resort Hoppa www.resorthoppa.com may be booked online and they also have a desk in Palma airport terminal.

Me and my parents spent a week at Gabriella duplex apt and we were very impressed. As soon as you enter the block within which the apartment is located you will be happy - the entrance hall has a luxury feel and wonderful marble tiles throughout. The apartment itself is fantastic - very clean and presentable, lovely décor, lovely big kitchen, spacious lounge and two really great bedrooms. The apartment is located 1 minute from the beach which is great and the surrounding area is so convenient as you have shops, restaurants and taxis on your doorstep. on the same street and round the corner you have wonderful authentic mallorcan restaurants and tapas bars. For something quick and delicious i also recommend the steakhouse which is opposite the apartment - ribs are great there! Although you have all of these wonderful shops and restaurants nearby the area is not noisy at all - you will find it very relaxing sitting on the balcony and watching people on the beach. The apartment and surrounding area is very safe and its lovely to take a walk around the marina which is 1 minute away. you can also take lots of interesting boat trips from this location.
The owner was a lovely woman who made sure we understood how everything worked and also gave us a number to contact her if we needed. We arrived at the apartment very late but the owner left the keys with a nearby English bar which all worked out well.
all in all this is an excellent value for money apartment which will surpass your expectations - the internet pictures do not do this place justice!!
only one tiny criticism - and this is the only thing in the apartment that i would bring to the owners attention - the double bed was a bit squeaky on the first night but we placed some cushions behind the headboard and it was absolutely fine and we all had restful nights - but it could do with changing in the future
Overall i guarantee you will not be disappointed if you book this - we will definitely book this apartment again when we return to Alcudia
