Home description

This large detached luxury villa is conveniently located just 600m from the entrance to the old town of Alcudia. This popular town surrounded by ancient walls has many narrow streets that contain a multitude of restaurants, tapas bars and small shops. The shoreline is within 400m of the villa to the north, with various small beaches to be explored. The beach resorts of Puerto Pollensa and Puerto Alcudia are just a few minutes drive away.

Alcudia area

We are pleased to offer a selection of villas in Alcudia. The town of Alcudia and the compact port of Alcudia are situated on the neck of one of Mallorca's northern peninsulas. Many visitors take an Alcudia holiday for the beach alone with its 11 km of curving white sand that shelves gently into the sea. There are many beach-side cafés and restaurants and a great variety of water sports to be enjoyed as well as other local activities to keep you occupied including horse riding and golf. The nightlife is centred around the local bars and night-clubs which are lively but not rowdy.

Alcudia is just what you would expect from a beach holiday, with a range of nearby cultural sites to visit as well. There is the walled town of Alcudia itself, with Roman ruins where a lovely Sunday market is held regularly.

The port of Alcudia and the old fishing village are at the northern end of the beach. Here you will find a tight grid of streets with restaurants and gift shops lining the sea front and more traditional Spanish style shops and cafés in the streets behind, with an abundance of seafood restaurants in all areas.

The Albufera, a marshy wetland, is a wildlife reserve popular with birdwatchers and is a ten minute drive away from Alcudia. The spectacular mountainous region in the west of the island towards the old town of Pollensa is a 15 minute drive away.

Further a field there are unspoilt mountain villages with stunning scenery, beaches and coves off the beaten track. The cosmopolitan city of Palma, capital of Mallorca, is just 50 kilometres away.

The accommodation is on two levels and comprises on the ground floor of a large entrance hallway giving access to a spacious lounge having very comfortable leather sofas, high quality fitted units, a flat panel TV, DVD Player and stereo system. From the hallway there is a newly fitted twin bedroom and a luxury shower room. A small passage leads to the dining area with archway to a very large and well fitted kitchen that benefits from modern appliances including a dishwasher, larder fridge freezer, microwave oven, ceramic hob and electric oven. The washing machine is housed in a separate laundry room. There is also a cosy sun lounge with double patio doors to the terrace. A wonderful feature marble staircase with chandelier lighting leads to the first floor gallery landing. Here there is the master double bedroom with four-poster bed, flat panel TV, en-suite luxury bathroom and private balcony. There is a second double bedroom, also with balcony and a twin bedroom on this level. These bedrooms share a family bathroom having shower unit over the bath. All the bedrooms have high quality furnishings and fitted wardrobes. This villa is furnished and equipped to a very high standard and has full air conditioning available (small extra charge) making it idea for our most discerning clients.

From the sun lounge, double patio doors give access to a spacious sun terrace that surrounds the 8m x 4m swimming pool, which has roman steps for easy access. A purpose built covered Barbeque kitchen with gas oven, brick built barbeque, fridge and sink can be found at one end of the terrace along with a large Gazebo to enjoy ‘Alfresco’ dining at its best! An external staircase leads to a roof top solarium having wonderful panoramic views. On the other side of the house there are well kept lawns and ornamental gardens.
