Gran Compteses is a very elegant detached house with 3 bedrooms, each with air conditioning. It has a luxurious lounge area with open fire, satellite television and radio/c.d. player. A spacious kitchen with seating area, totally equipped with dishwasher, oven and hob, fridge and washing machine. 2 bathroom suites. A large covered terrace surrounds the house with views to the gardens, lawns and the countryside. The patio area is approximately 1000 square metres. The house has a 10 metre by 10 metre swimming pool that is 300 years old, totally restored.
The grounds in which the house is found are of a size of 11000 square metres. To the south of these grounds is the Old Town of Alcudia, at 300 metres distance, and on the north side of these grounds is the countryside and mountains (a very nice views).
The guest cottage is next door to the main house. It is also air conditioned and has 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom, a kitchen/diner and lounge area. Kitchen is equipped with fridge, microwave and hob.
Also found inside the grounds is a self-contained house with swimming pool, equipped for 6 people. The air conditioning operate between the hours of 9pm and 9am, out of these hours the machines operate as a fan and ventilation system.

The Mallorca/Majorca region
Mallorca is the largest of the Balearic islands and it does have a reputation for mass tourism and high-octane night life. However, while it is true that Mallorca is one of Europe's most popular holidays destinations, it really does offer so much more as much of the island consists of a variety of beautiful and unspoilt countryside.
Where the mountains meet sea you will find lovely unspoilt coves, and in the mountains themselves lie many charming towns and monasteries. Across the centre and to the south east of the island lie plains dotted with windmills, whilst olive and almond groves flourish in the rich soil. The variety of scenery on this island is stunning - one can enjoy views from below and on top of the magnificient mountains, or combine a coastal walk with a refreshing dip in the sea.
Alcudia area
Alcudia is located to the north of Mallorca, between two bays that form some of the most privileged beaches of the Mediterranean. There are for all the pleasures: of fine sand, of songs rolling, extensive, small... Alcudia is just what you would expect from beach holiday, with a range of nearby cultural sites to visit as well. There is a walled town of Alcudia itself, with Roman ruins where a lovely Sunday market is held regularly.

The Albufera, a marshy wetland, is a wildlife reserve popular with birdwatchers and is a ten minute drive away from Alcudia.
Alcudia has a good selections of restaurants, cafes in the plaza, good shopping, supermarkets, hairdressers and tourist information. Five minutes drive, Alcudia has a beautiful golf course with 18 holes.

Conditions
The changeover day are flexible to provide a choice of overall rental period and availability of flights, except June till September, when the changeover day is Saturday. Minimum length of stay is 1 week. Arrival is 3:00pm and departures 10:00am Non-returnable 30% deposit to guarantee the booking. The main house and the cottage just rent from 15th April till 30th October and the villa from January_December. Final payment 15 days before arrival. 500 euros deposit for breakages (returnable assuming no damage to the property)
