About the home

THE PENTHOUSE IS NOT YOUR AVERAGE RENTAL PROPERTY - It is furnished to a very high standard with many additional luxuries & home comforts designed to be a home from home & ensure you have the perfect holiday. It is ideal for couples, or families & is an exceptionally large spacious luxury double sized rooftop apartment in the heart of the resort with 2 massive sun terraces offering stunning 360 Degree Panoramic views.

Big comfortable lounge with 3 seater sofa & 2 seater sofa-bed. Plasma TV, Home Cinema & Satellite, Video, XBox Gaming System & DVD player + Luxury Hi-Fi CD Music system piped throughout the penthouse. French doors lead out to large part covered rooftop sun terrace balcony with fantastic views of the Bay of Alcudia & the mountains beyond.

2 Luxury Bathrooms one with a large shower enclosure the other boasting a large sunken corner bath & large wet room shower plus feature lighting & music system etc.

2 fabulous large private terraces with sunbeds, large table & chairs etc perfect for Al Fresco Dining or at night to sit & have a glass of wine & watch the moon dancing over the ocean.

3 Pools available for Penthouse guests to use.

Large fully fitted kitchen & utility room with all major appliances.

The master bedroom has a large King-size bed, Sony Hi Fi System, plus gorgeous hand made black wrought iron furniture, full sized long mirror, & a make up mirror & table, bedside cabinets & lights, laundry basket, large double wardrobes & a safe, with large french doors leading out to the massive left side sun terrace & sunbeds with stunning views of the Alcudia Marina, Alcudia Old Town, the mountains & Porta Pollenca.

The second bedroom has twin beds, full size mirror, touch sensitive bedside lamps, large double wardrobes etc & large french doors out to the left terrace. The double sofa bed in the lounge also sleeps two people, and a travel cot is also available (please bring your babys own pillow & bedding for the cot).

We respectfully ask guests not to smoke inside the apartment for the benefit of others, however smoking on the terraces is not a problem & suitable outdoor ashtrays are provided.

During November - March we are flexible on changeover day and also length of stay with 3, 4,5,7 & 10 day specials during the main Golf Season with prices starting from just £179 for a 3 day Break and £249 for a week or £799 per month with our special offers, enquire now for more details & prices.

Conditions

1/. All prices are for the entire rental of the Penthouse per week (There are no hidden charges).

2/. We require a fully refundable security deposit of £250 to cover any incidental damage, loss of keys etc. Deposits will be returned immediately after your holiday.

3/. To book now for Spring, Summer & Winter 2011 we simply require just £35 deposit to secure your prefered holiday dates remember just £35 deposit secures your booking for 2011 with the remainder of the 25% deposit due in Feb 2011.

4/. Full balance is due for all rentals 12 weeks prior to departure.

5/. For Low Season Winter Bookings there is a nominal £34 charge per week towards the cost of Cleaning & Laundry.

Excursions and Trips

There are a huge selection of trips available, but the best include -

Son Amar – Rated one of the Top 5 shows in the World and is truly awesome. – a must see!

Pirates Adventure is a must if you have kids.

Palma City is very cosmopolitan full of great shops and bars, plus the beautiful Cathederal and a host of things to do.

GOLF INFORMATION
Alcanada Golf Club is the newest club in Majorca having only opened in October of 2003. Designed by Robert Trent Jones and Robert Trent Jones Jr, two of the best architects of golf courses in the world. Located to the west of the bay of Alcudia, it is surrounded only by nature and the sea. From almost all points of the route the course offers stunning & impressive views coupled with demanding and challenging greens and is open to non members.

To help you relax after your round of golf, The Club at Alcanda offers an excellent restaurant and bar area with an enormous terrace which overlooks the course and the beautiful coastal views of Alcanada.

Characteristics: - 18 holes - Even 72. All usual ammenieties are available including Golf Shop, Lessons, clubs and buggy hire etc. SPECIAL - We have negotiated a 10% discount on Green Fees and also a 10% Discount off the total bill in the Club Restaurant for all our Penthouse clients.

Alcanada is just 10 minutes from the Penthouse as is The Pollensa Golf Club which is open to non members. The challenging 9 hole course has been described as one of the most beautiful in the Mediterranean, with a clubhouse, a restaurant which also welcomes non-golfers, a swimming pool, rental of clubs, trolleys and golf cars also available. Tuition can be arranged and there are regular tournaments.

The Alcudia area

The Alcudia Penthouse is perfectly situated half way between the Marina, and the lively Bellvue area of the resort, an absolutely ideal location, enjoying the luxury of panoramic views of Alcudia, the mountains and beyond. There are shops, restauarants & bars within 100 yards of the apartment plus Chemist, cash machines, Doctor etc.

Situated less than 150 metres from the beach, in a pleasant beautiful tree lined residential area. The beach stretches for 9 miles, around the entire bay of Alcudia, and is a safe, beautiful, white sandy Gold Medal winning beach, with clear warm sea – paradise!

The Penthouse is aprox a 10 minute stroll along the beach from the cosmopolitan Marina and Port of Alcudia in one direction, & aprox 5 mins in the other direction from the vast array of restaurants, bars, giftshops, etc of the Bellvue mile with over 200 places to eat, drink, shop, and be entertained.

Activities

The list of activities is almost endless, but includes Horse Riding, Water-skiing, Paracending, Banana Rides and Ringos, Windsurfing, Sailing, Jet Skis, Tennis, Go-Karting, Volleyball, Fishing, Basketball, Pool, Arcades, Trampolines, Pony Rides, Golf, Archery, Mini Golf, Glass Bottom Boat Trips, Tours and Excursions, plus there is a big Waterpark with all the slides just 5 minutes away.

Virtually all the Hotels provide entertainment with live music, dancers or a show of some sort, and welcome non residents, which is well worth remembering.

The nearest resorts are Porto de Pollensa, or Alcanada which are both just a 10 min cab ride away. Pollensa is beautiful and well worth going to for a meal or just to stroll around, and Alcanada is simply a beautiful spot with a fabulous restaurant called La Terraza which is simply superb, and the excellent new golf course.

For sightseeing etc, The Caves of Drack are world famous, plus the trips to either Alcudia Market or Inca Market will give you a chance to find a bargain, or soak up the local atmosphere.

Boat Rental – Hiring a speedboat can be expensive, but our guests can enjoy a day on a Luxury 27ft Powerboat/Cruiser for around 1/3 the usual price via a deal we negotiated with a local English Skipper (Alan). It is a great way to see the Island from a different view, plus you can Fish, or just visit quiet coves and be millionaires for a day!

Pools - There are 3 pools available for Penthouse guests to use all within 150 yards of the apartment. One has a large Water Slide which kids love & there is also a splash pool available for younger children. There is a nominal charge for using the water slide of aprox 3 Euros for the whole day but use of the pool is free.

There is also a large family Water Park very close by (aprox 5 minutes) with lots of massive slides & a host of other amenities plus sunloungers etc. As with all theme park type places it is quiet expensive to get in but once there its a great day out for the whole family.
