Alcudia area
We are pleased to offer a selection of villas in Alcudia. The town of Alcudia and the compact port of Alcudia are situated on the neck of one of Mallorca's northern peninsulas. Many visitors take an Alcudia holiday for the beach alone with its 11 km of curving white sand that shelves gently into the sea. There are many beach-side cafés and restaurants and a great variety of water sports to be enjoyed as well as other local activities to keep you occupied including horse riding and golf. The nightlife is centred around the local bars and night-clubs which are lively but not rowdy.
Alcudia is just what you would expect from a beach holiday, with a range of nearby cultural sites to visit as well. There is the walled town of Alcudia itself, with Roman ruins where a lovely Sunday market is held regularly.
The port of Alcudia and the old fishing village are at the northern end of the beach. Here you will find a tight grid of streets with restaurants and gift shops lining the sea front and more traditional Spanish style shops and cafés in the streets behind, with an abundance of seafood restaurants in all areas.
The Albufera, a marshy wetland, is a wildlife reserve popular with birdwatchers and is a ten minute drive away from Alcudia. The spectacular mountainous region in the west of the island towards the old town of Pollensa is a 15 minute drive away.
Further a field there are unspoilt mountain villages with stunning scenery, beaches and coves off the beaten track. The cosmopolitan city of Palma, capital of Mallorca, is just 50 kilometres away.

Casa Joan Cotona is 54km from the airport. Directions and maps to the villa will be sent to you when your booking is confirmed. If you contact us we can also arrange car hire and transfers for you, along with flights and travel insurance.

Further details indoors: The entrance hallway leads to a very spacious living room with dining area, having a feature fireplace. Entertainment is provided here with a Satellite TV, DVD player and stereo system. From the living room an archway gives access to a large breakfast area and fitted kitchen, which is equipped with modern appliances. In addition, there is one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and a family bathroom on the ground floor. Stairs from the lounge lead to the first floor gallery landing where there is one double bedrooms, two twin bedrooms and a family bathroom. All the bedrooms have access to a large balcony. This centrally heated villa is very comfortable, being furnished and equipped throughout to a high standard. It is suitable for families who planning a quiet and relaxing holiday who require good privacy yet within easy access of Alcudia and its varied nightlife.

From the lounge, double doors lead out onto a covered terrace, which is ideal for ‘Alfresco’ dining. There is a brick built barbecue and a separate Pizza oven adjacent to an additional shaded eating area. To the side of the villa there is 6m x 6m swimming pool and lawns surrounding the remains of a waterwheel. The well established gardens benefit from fruit tress, shrubs and flower beds. To the side of the villa there is a large ‘play area’ with concrete surface, suitable for football, badminton or tennis (nets not supplied) and off road parking for a number of cars.
