"Sculptor's House" is a wonderful villa, a country house that breathes art, harmony, tranquillity and wellness. This property is located in Alcudia at just 1km to the beaches of Sant Joan and Sant Pere and less than 1 km to the Historical Center of Alcudia. All this locations are at just 10 minutes walking from the villa by a pedestrian path.

From the first moment, "Sculptor's House" inspires us with its presence and aroma. This is the villa where the artist Xavier San Pedro used to live and the presence of his art is everywhere at this villa with paintings and sculptures and also the handwork at its walls and buildings.

The wonderful and huge garden, the delicate pool, the strength of the typical Mallorcan stone house will give us a warm welcome. All these elements makes this villa an special spot, a cozy place, designed for enjoying and open the senses. That can be perceived from the first moment.

"Sculptor's House" has two houses. The first is a huge stone house, located just at the entrace. The access is by a large Porch where you will find a huge dining table where to spend lovely days under the shadow and special nights. There is a BBQ just next to the porch.

A Dining area and 2 Hall will receive us at the Main House. The art, a warm atmosphere and the presence of the stone walls will imprese us from the first moment. At the left we find the "New Hall" equipped with comfortable sofas and armchair. This is the place where you will find the SAT TV and the WIFI area. The perfect place for the "siesta" just watching TV while the sea breeze and the aroma of the gardens comes in by the windows. Next to the "New Hall" we will find the Double Bedroom Downstairs a warm bedroom with Garden Views and just on the groundfloor.

The Second Hall is just great: there are 2 sofas and an amazing stone wall with an arc. From here you have access to the Dining Room and also to the Large Fully Equipped Kitchen which is just amazing: almost 30 sqm meters of wall stone kitchen with all the appliances, a log fire to grill inside the house and a Large Dining Table to invite your holidays friends.

There is a Large Family Bathroom with Bath at the groundfloor.

The main House has a first floor where we will find 2 Bedrooms: The Twin Bedroom and the Double Bedroom upstairs. Both with a perfect views to the Garden plenty of sculptures. The Main house has air conditioning in all the spaces (kitchen, halls and bedrooms).

The Second House has been built during May 2014. Everything here is just totally new. This is an small house perfect for a couple with everything lo live and enjoy it there. It has a Kitchen, a Bathroom, a Dining area, a lovely Hall with Log Fire, SAT TV and swimming pool views and an Attic Bedroom. Outside there is a Dining area corner and a pair of sunbeds. This is a cozy spot perfect for a second couple or for teenagers to have a holidays plenty of privacy at the same villa.

The Gardens of the villa are just great and Large and plenty of art and sculptures. The children will love it because it is perfect to play, to run... At the Garden is where we will feel the hand of the artist Xavier San Pedro. Some pieces will remind us the art of Giacometti, some other are closer to Botero, most of them are just Xavier San Pedro art.

A shaded corridor takes us from the Entrance to the Swimming Pool. One stop before to swim, we find a cozy corner just under the shadow of the plants roof, a perfect place to read at only few meters to the Pool. If you prefer the sun, just one step more and you will find the sunbathing area: some hammocks next to the pool and the Garden to feel the paradise. The children they will find their perfect spot at the swimming pool which is just perfect. That's where you'll spend most of your time, enjoying the essence of the Mediterranean that we can feel in this wonderful villa.

The Balearic Islands region

Port d'Alcudia is a small fishing port, which nowadays has become a popular place for people enjoying life on the beach. The promenade has won several competitions in architecture and urbanism Radiating through the Port is a pleasant aroma with a breeze. On one side the sea, "llauts" traditional fishing boats and modern marina Alcudiamar. On the other hand, the best fish restaurants, ice cream parlours and clothing stores. And facing the beach, miles of fine sand that draws the semicircle of the bay of Alcúdia. It is the most popular beach, which has all sorts of services including bars, boat rental and sailing courses and an aquatic park.

Not only is the beach. Those browsers have a lot to do beach in Alcúdia in the town since there are almost twenty: sand, rocks, accessible only by sea. Among the intimate beaches include Alcanada, or the S'Illot Coll Baix. The latter is a true marvel of nature that is only accessible by boat or after a pleasant outing among pine trees and rocks.

Precisely from the Coll Baix begin some very interesting excursions for those who love trekking and nature as it rises to Sa Talaia, a former defensive watchtower at the highest point of the municipality. From above we see two bays, the Serra, Alcúdia, the Pla de Mallorca and when the day is clear, the coast of Menorca.

But if there is somewhere to visit for nature lovers, S'Albufereta and S'Albufera are two of the largest wetlands of ecological importance of the Balearic Islands, located in Alcudia and its environs, and that meet an interesting plant and animal life.

At 1 mile from the apartment you will find the old town of Alcúdia, called the faithful city in Christian times, the name is Arabic and Roman footprint. A past forged between them in a privileged enclave in the north of Mallorca. Situated close to the Serra de Tramuntana, Alcúdia has his back to the farm and rural Mallorca, and bathe his feet the waters of two bays, the north of Pollença and Alcúdia east. Alcúdia is located in the middle of this area of contrasts, between the stone wall of the Serra and the sandy coves of the bay of Alcudia between the north wind, sea and inland. All Majorca near Alcúdia.

Does not detract from the historical legacy that remains today Alcúdia an unknown place and for many island residents. As surprising as for some unknown to most. It is not common to find an authentic place so located as close to the tourist and has kept the essence of Mediterranean town where everything happens at another speed, where everything is savoured and enjoyed. Alcudia, in a sense, we live today as yesterday, taken within its medieval walls (which began building in 1300). Sa Plaza is the hub of "alcudienses", place of passage, the meeting point. Around it are bars and terraces that allow us to enjoy this peaceful place and combine it with a good dish.

In either leave the square winding streets in several directions to get to a point on the wall as the gates of Xara and Sant Sebastià, and the Church of Sant Jaume, opposite which lies the city of Rome Pollentia and a little beyond the Roman theatre, a "rara avis" because instead of being built, is dug into the rock.

A row of orange trees mark the route of the main streets, the Carrer del Moll and Carrer Major. In these streets and we are adjacent to small jewellery shops, shoe shops, clothing stores, bars, restaurants, among many large houses built centuries ago, small and peaceful squares. Alcúdia is one of those places where it's worth losing left its streets to discover around every corner a new charm, a new feel.

Every Tuesday and Sunday morning, speeding up the pace of the city with the market. The farmers, traders, artisans, artists fill the colour and bustle of people around, inside and outside the medieval wall.

The surroundings of the villa have plenty of options, attractions and activities to do with many places to visit.
