This impressive, contemporary villa has an enviable position right at the very top of the prestigious residential estate of Bonaire, a fabulous location with commanding views across the bay of Pollensa. 2km exactly down the hill to the quiet and unspoilt Mal Pas beach and to the small supermarket, restaurants and chill out bars of Bonaire.
The beautiful old town of Alcudia is a 5 minute drive away with cafes, bars, markets and shops that typify the Spanish life style. In addition Alcudia Port, also a 5 minute drive, has restaurants lining the harbour walk. Pollensa Town and Pollensa Port are a 15 minute drive and 20 minute drive respectively, the town has stunning architecture, fabulous restaurants and Art galleries, the Port has a wide range of water sports and a large beach.
The villa has a luxury finish throughout with clean and contemporary furnishings, even down to crisp white Egyptian cotton sheets! The villa is a 40 minute drive from Palma airport.

The entrance to the villa is a wall of glass opening into a double height hall way with marble staircase. The hall leads on to the open living space containing the lounge, dining room and kitchen with vast floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors designed to capture as much natural sunlight as possible and to frame the stunning view.
They face out onto the covered furnished terrace overlooking the pool. The decor throughout is clean and contemporary. The first floor has a large galleried area with stunning views of the mountains leading to the master suite with large dressing area, bathroom with shower and bath (with a view!) and a large triple aspect bedroom containing a king size bed.
French doors lead on to a private terrace with sea and mountain views. There is a further large kingsize bedroom suite with shower room and two large twins that share a family bathroom with shower and bath. The 2 kings and double have memory foam mattresses and all have Egyptian cotton linen.

The secured landscaped gardens contain a lawned area to the front with standard trees and bamboo and a gravel area to the rear. The impressive terraces house a luxury eating area for 10 and a chill out area with a sofa, two arm chairs and a coffee table and a barbecue. A few steps lead down to the lower terrace and the magnificent infinity pool and sunbathing terrace containing 5 teak sunbeds.
The terrace area is bathed in sunshine and dinner on the terrace will reward you with the sun going down over the mountains, simply breathtaking! The infinity pool is 10m x 5m.

Welcome pack on arrival
The property is cleaned on changeover day, there will be enough towels left at the villa for you to do a mid week towel change. Additional cleaning is available from the management company, quotes can be provided. Towels and linen included.
Conditions
There is a ground floor double bedroom with easy access, however, the bed is very low. Care should be taken with very young children, there is a 50cm drop on to the lower pool terrace, please also note that the pool is not fenced off. If you have young children please inquire as to the suitability.

The Alcudia / Bon Aire area
The historical Old Town of Alcudia dates back to the 14th century with the old Roman ruins and impressive city walls providing some stunning views and local culture. If street stalls, bartering and a vibrant atmosphere are your thing, then do not miss out on the local market every Sunday and Tuesday.
Bonaire is prestigious residential area and villa 88 has an enviable position at the very top. 2km down the hill are the beautiful beaches of Mal Pas. Alcudia and Alcudia Port are only a 5 minute drive away, Pollensa and Pollensa Port are 15 to 20 minute drive away. Within 5 to 10 minutes there are countless restaurants, shops and beaches.

Together with my wife, our 2yr old daughter and parents we stayed at Villa 88 in September 2012. We had originally picked the villa based on the reports we had read and the pictures available and were not disappointed. The villa is close to the main towns on the north of the island yet at the same time retains a sense of being away from it all. To say the villa caters for every need would be an understatement.... it includes all required mod-cons and everything is of great quality. The infinity pool is lovely (if not a little cold at the time we stayed) and I would definitely recommend pool side shoes/flip-flops as the pool side can get a little slippy when wet (we were advised this by the owners). Overall, a fantastic location, wonderful villa, very helpful/attentive owners and we would not hesitate to visit again in the future!! Really well equipped villa, very clean and tidy. Super view of bay of Pollensa. Ideally suited for 2 families with separate stove and fridge for each family. Our stay was slightly hanmpered by construction at the neighbour property but the owner was kind enough to let us know in advance. Very kind and helpful owners.
