There are a further two bedrooms ( Air Conditioned ) which have 2 single beds each, there is also a bathroom upstairs with a shower.

Its mediterranean weather and beaches is one of the principal reclamain for the families who are looking for sun and beach holiday for the childrens. But Mallorca is also, culture, gastronomy, history etc.. There are plenty of museums, roman ruins, monuments, musical and theatre events during all year.
There is a Theatre situated in " Alcudia Old Town " Just ask any of the taxi drivers or drive to the old town and to the left of the taxi rank you will see a small shopping centre and the Theatre is to the right of the shopping centre,ENJOY.........
The Alcudia area
Alcudia is a very important city because of its sandy beaches (7 km large) and also because of its Romanic city walls and culture. It is one of the most important tourist destinations in the Balearic Islands. In Alcudia you can find the recovery that you need in your holidays and at the same time the area offers you a very important number of bars, discos, restaurants, theatres, shops, etc. Alcudia is ideal also for families with children because the beach is very clean and not so deep.
You can have a nice walk from entry to the beach from across the road turning left which will lead you to Port Alcudia ,there you will find the Marina and a host of Cafe's / Bars / Restaurants.
Just across the road ( 30Mtrs ) is an ATM , Garage ,Large supermarket .
There are two local golfcourses nearby Alcanada , Porto Pollensa and several others to choose from
There is a hospital within 15mins walk
Local restaurants are plentiful and only minutes away ( Hawaii bar only across the road )
Water sports are well catered for on the beach ( Paragliding ,Banana boat ,Peddlelowes,Boat trips etc..)
Check with local Bars / Restaurants / Cafe's for fortcoming Fiesta's and celebrations .
If you are a golfer you are in for a treat with ALCANADA just 10min drive ,A truly fantastic course 16 of the 18 holes overlook the ocean !!!
ALCANADA GOLF CLUB :
This Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed 18-hole golf course opened in 2003. Situated in the northern part of the mediterranean island of Mallorca, Alcanada is located right by the sea. The 6.499 meter long course blends naturally into the typical mallorcan terrain. The namegiving island with its lighthouse, just off the shore, can be seen from most of the holes. Apart from the splendid sea view, the players are surrounded by pine and olive groves. Even though a young course, Alcanada is already recognized by a number of well known golf magazines and golf guides as one of the finest courses in Spain and Europe.

HOW TO ARRIVE FROM THE AIRPORT:
• Join the motorway from the airport, direction Palma (MA 19) for 5,5 kms.
• Take the second exit onto Via De Cintura (MA 20), direction “Andratx” for 2,8 kms.
• Take the exit signed “Inca / Pto. Alcudia” and continue along this new dual carriageway, (MA 13) until it turns into a single track road for approximately 40 minutes.
• Go straight across the first roundabout you meet, then 1km. later on the second roundabout take the first exit, continuing in the direction of “Port d'Alcúdia – Artà” (MA 3460).
• Just 200 mtrs later take the first exit on your right (Desvío Ronda MA 3470) signposted “Can Picafort – Artà”.
• After about 1,6km, take the second exit on the left hand side, entering into “Avinguda Pere Mas i Reus”.
• Carry straight along until the end of this road until the traffic lights, whereby turning right you enter into the “Port d'Alcúdia – Artà” road.

From the friendly and helpful welcome of the local agents on arrival to the setting ,with the beautiful lake to the rear of the villa to the fantastic beach only a short walk away , we were then blown away by the quality of the villa and its great location while still offering privacy in a peaceful setting. The nearest supermarket is just around the corner and you are spolit for choice when looking for places to eat. Whether you are looking to chill out or you are looking for lots to do, this villa is in the ideal location and we will most certainly go back. |

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful villa.It was very well maintained and equipped,including wi-fi.It is spacious indoors and it was fabulous to have our own pool,garden and patio area . The location of the villa is ideal with views over the lake,and just a short stroll to the sandy beach.You can enjoy the peacefulness of the setting or take a bus or short walk to the many bars,restaurants and shops nearby.I would definitly return and have no hesitation in recommending this villa to family and friends too. The owner of the villa is easily contactable and very helpful. |
