Luxury old reformed country house convenient to Alcudia, Pollensa, and the Ports. House on a small hill with views of the Bay of Pollensa. Has been reformed to a very high standard with 2 double bedrooms, each with super bathroom, suitable a family of 4, two couples or perfect for a honeymoon, Max. 4 people. Is private and opposite the Bosque/Forest, with lovely walks and cycle rides..

The Mallorca/Majorca region

Places of interest are Pollensa,Church dates back to Roman times. The Calvario steps, Main square with lots of cafes, bars and restaurants. Pollensa market on a Sunday really good, not just veg and flowers. This is all 10 mins away. Alcudia dates back to Roman times and has a very mixed history. Market is on Sunday as well. Albufera nature reserve at the back of Alcudia full of birdlife and of course a super beach stretching all the way through Can Picafort, all 10 mins away. Also the lovely Port of Pollensa again with super beaches, sailing facilites.and a natural harbour, all types of restaurants and cafes along both beaches. Opposite the house is a forest, great for walks and bike rides. All this is in the North and the capital is Palma which is a wonderfull city just to walk around, a terrific 12th century cathedral all by the Bay of Palma. The weather is pretty consisent from May until and sometimes including October and November beautifull, of course, with the odd electric storm, which brings the rain we desperately need.

The Alcudia area

The main Fiestas are in July and August in both Alcudia and Pollensa and the 2nd August is always the Moors/Christian battle depicting the invasion of the Moors on the Island. In July and August there is a world renowned music fastival in the San Domingo Church in Pollensa, a wonderfull experience under the stars. Mallorca has a painters light and therefore, there are many artists on the Island and lots of galleries and shops displaying this work.

“Relaxing,quiet and sunny-just what we all needed!” We were welcomed by the owner,who recommended where to eat and even an osteopath for my husband! The villa is delightful,particularly the bedrooms and bathrooms, the pool is probably the best we have had with a villa.Plenty of places to sunbathe or recline in the shade. Lovely views too. You do need a car. Go and enjoy Alcudia old town,great atmosphere and restaurants. We,that is, husband and 17 and 23 year old daughters were only there for a week-not long enough! However,we did have a lovely week and would love to return to the villa.

“Wonderful stay at this gorgeous villa” We spent a week at Can Fiera in early September 2012 and were delighted with the villa. It sits within plenty of private land is accessible from a small lane off the main road to Alcudia. It's far enough away not to hear any traffic and it's very peaceful indeed, especially at night. The owner, Babs, has decorated the villa beautifully. There is free WiFi, a well stocked kitchen, living room with TV, DVD player and all major UK channels, a dining room and upstairs there are 2 bedrooms, both en suite. The beds are very comfy and the bath rooms both have showers and 1 has a bath. The main bedroom has 2 roof terraces overlooking the pool area and views to Port de Pollenca. The villa was recently renovated (there are pictures of the restoration being carried out inside the villa) and so everything is brand new. Outside is a gas BBQ which we used on numerous occasions and various seating areas to just chill out. We were constantly wondering how we had so much space for just the four of us (we travelled as 2 couples). The pool is very big for a private villa and there are 4 sun beds. At night the villa is lit beautifully and it's great to sit out with a glass of wine in the evening. There is a comfy seating area at the end of the pool. Tip: bring an iPod and speaker dock. A car is essential as it's not walking distance to the beach, but only 5 mins by car to Alcudia. We would highly recommend a stay at Can Fiera. For the money it offers great value.
