This substantial, recently constructed modern detached villa is conveniently located within walking distance of Alcudia old town with its many narrow streets, intimate restaurants and good selection of shops. The villa is named after the small ‘Barcares’ beach which is on the north side of the coast, just 400m from the villa. The close proximity to shops, restaurants and the beach make this an ideal location for a family holiday.
The spacious accommodation is on two levels and comprises on the ground floor of a large entrance hall leading through to a separate lounge having sumptuous settees and high quality furnishings. Entertainment is provided here by a Satellite TV and DVD Player housed in a cabinet. There is also a CD stereo system within the villa.

An interconnecting door leads through to a spacious fully fitted kitchen – dining room having a range of modern appliances including a built in microwave and separate oven, ceramic hob, extractor unit, fridge freezer and dishwasher.
On the ground floor there are two double bedrooms, both with fitted wardrobes, bedside tables and reading lights and central heating radiators. A family bathroom and a separate toilet, which houses the washing machine, complete the accommodation on this level.
Stairs from the hallway lead up to the first floor galleried landing where there is a master double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and private balcony with views towards the Tramuntana mountains and the coast. In addition there is a twin bedroom which shares another balcony with the master bedroom. A second light and airy twin bedroom and a lovely luxurious bathroom complete the accommodation on the first floor. All first floor bedrooms have fitted wardrobes, bedside tables and reading lights plus central heating radiators. The villa is furnished and well equipped to a high standard in keeping with he demands of our discerning clientele.

Double patio doors from the kitchen, plus a back door from the hallway give access to the full width large covered terrace where a good selection of high quality wooden patio furniture is supplied. There is a lovely brick built BBQ to enjoy ‘Al fresco’ dining at its best. Steps lead down to the sun terrace surrounding the 10m x 5m swimming pool, which has roman steps for easy access and a poolside shower. The villa benefits from mature gardens with lovely lawns around the pool area. Good all round privacy is provided by tall hedging There is off road parking for two cars to one side of the villa. Whilst not specifically designed with the disabled in mind, there is a ramp for wheelchair access to the front door

The Alcudia / Es Bacares area
We are pleased to offer a selection of villas in Alcudia. The town of Alcudia and the compact port of Alcudia are situated on the neck of one of Mallorca's northern peninsulas. Many visitors take an Alcudia holiday for the beach alone with its 11 km of curving white sand that shelves gently into the sea. There are many beach-side cafés and restaurants and a great variety of water sports to be enjoyed as well as other local activities to keep you occupied including horse riding and golf. The nightlife is centred around the local bars and night-clubs which are lively but not rowdy.
Alcudia is just what you would expect from a beach holiday, with a range of nearby cultural sites to visit as well. There is the walled town of Alcudia itself, with Roman ruins where a lovely Sunday market is held regularly.
The port of Alcudia and the old fishing village are at the northern end of the beach. Here you will find a tight grid of streets with restaurants and gift shops lining the sea front and more traditional Spanish style shops and cafés in the streets behind, with an abundance of seafood restaurants in all areas.
The Albufera, a marshy wetland, is a wildlife reserve popular with birdwatchers and is a ten minute drive away from Alcudia. The spectacular mountainous region in the west of the island towards the old town of Pollensa is a 15 minute drive away.
Further a field there are unspoilt mountain villages with stunning scenery, beaches and coves off the beaten track. The cosmopolitan city of Palma, capital of Mallorca, is just 50 kilometres away.

Have just returned from a 2 week stay. Villa is typically spanish - basic and clean enough. Kitchenwise needs much more - there are not nearly enough cooking dishes for such a large villa or variety... more
