Set in the countryside, yet within easy reach of Mal Pas beach and the delightful old town of Alcudia, Can Magnus is just a short drive from the beach, shops and resort of Puerto Pollensa.
It is a truly impressive villa and is the best in our collection of villas in the north of Mallorca.
A long sweeping driveway leads up to this very attractive two-storey villa, which stands in grounds of 28000 square metres. The grounds have been farmed by the owners family for over three generations!
Five steps lead up to the front porch and the front door opens into the entrance hall with a stunning chandelier as a centre piece. To the right of the entrance hall is the lounge, which has been thoughtfully and carefully designed to provide comfy sofas on one side of the room and a TV/Music corner on the other - a perfect spot for the adults to relax while the children are watching their favourite DVD or listening to their favourite music.
Doors lead out from here to the terraces, with comfy rattan furniture and long white curtains, which can be drawn at the end of the day, bringing a sense of Ibizan “chill out” style to this beautiful Mallorcan property. A couple of steps down from the terrace, is the large L-shaped swimming pool, which is set in a decked surround and bordered by a lawned section and Almond groves.
To the left of the entrance hall is the dining room, with its beautiful dining table and chairs. The dining table can be extended to seat 16 – perfect for those special occasions. Doors lead out from here to a lovely wrap around terrace – great for alfresco dining – with five light-weight tables and chairs – so that the furniture can be arranged as you wish.
To the left of the dining room is the stylish and well-equipped kitchen. Here the fridge that dispenses drinking water, ice cubes and crushed ice. There is also a coffee machine, which serves up 12 different types of coffee as well as frothing the milk and dispensing hot water.
Apart from the normal knives and forks, there are steak and fish knives, pinchers and prongs for eating lobster and several tortoise shell spoons for serving caviar!
Adjacent to the kitchen is the garage housing the laundry facilities, as well as a small drinks fridge and ice freezer.
The interior of the house was designed by a graduate from the Inchbald School of Design in London. Many traditional Mallorcan pieces have been teamed with more contemporary pieces to create a unique atmosphere, which is both calming and restful. There are many welcoming corners furnished with chaises where one can sit and read or just chill out! Plus a play station for the children.

Alcudia is an historic town with Roman and Moorish influences, Puerto Alcudia a lively modern resort with one of the finest beaches in the Mediterranean. Playa de Muro (though part of a different municipality) joins onto Puerto Alcudia and also boasts a terrific beach and a vast nature park - S’Albufera.

Further details indoors: Off the hallway and straight ahead is the ground floor sleeping area. On the left hand side is a double bedroom with fitted wardrobes and en suite shower room. There are lovely views out across the almond groves from this bedroom. On the right hand side is a twin bedroom with doors to terrace. Next to this bedroom is a bathroom (Jacuzzi bath).
A marble staircase with silver handrail leads to the first floor landing with its splendid views of the mountains and wooded hills.
Off to the right, there is a master bedroom with king-size bed, balcony and en suite shower room. Off to the left, there is a twin bedroom with balcony. Both bedrooms afford views over the Almond groves, mountains and bay of Pollensa.
Also on the right, there is a further double bedroom with balcony. This affords views of the pool area. In the middle of the hallway, there is a shower room. Every bathroom/shower room is fitted with a hair dryer.
Apart from the 2m x 2m mattress in the master suite, all the bedrooms have latex memory mattresses, which have a winter brushed wool side and a cool summer side. These rest on bases that can be raised at the top or the bottom.
