About the home

Three bedroom apartment situated in the centre of town, close to the sea with only a 2 minute walk to the beach! Inside the enclosed area there is a large swimming pool and patio for sunbathing. Fantastic restaurants, shops and Tapas bars are all within walking distance. Alcossebre boasts 5 beaches all with Blue Flag status complete with volleyball nets, climbing frames and showers. In season, there are paddle boats and windsurfers for hire and for the more adventurous, jet skis and scuba- diving. Cycling, tennis, bowls and horse-riding are also available. 2 excellent golf courses are only a 30 minute drive away. Alcossebre can be reached from either Barcelona Valencia and Reus Airports. The climate in this beautiful area of Spain compares with the Costa del Sol which makes it an ideal year round destination for all age groups

All 3 bedrooms are large and roomy. Both the master bedroom and the two sleeper bedroom has fully fitted wardrobes, the single bedroom has a chest of drawers.
Cleaning/towels:
Fresh linen and towels are be supplied for each rental and the apartment is fully serviced after each tenant.

Notes on accommodation
Our apartment completed in the last few years and as such is in beautiful condition. Free standing fans & ceiling fans are supplied, and for the cooler nights electric oil heaters are supplied.
Suitable for all size families as all the amenities are within walking distance.
It is situated on the 1st floor with lifts to all 3 floors in the complex.
Security video/voice link with all doors.
Sorry but NO Pets.

Outside
The complex boasts a secure swimming pool with plenty of room for sunbathing and is complete with a small children's pool area.

Coast/Beach
The beaches are a 2 minute walk away with white sands and the clear blue Mediterranean sea. All the beaches in Alcossebre have been rated with Blue Flag Status and come complete with climbing frames, volley ball etc. In summer all types of water sports are available for hire on the beaches.

Golf
There are 2 fantastic golf courses in the area each only a 30 minute drive away, prices are very reasonable for a round of golf at both clubs.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Costa del Azahar region

Spain's beautiful unspoilt Costa del Azahar ( the Orange blossom coast ) is nestled between the tranquil delta lands of the Ebro river and the vibrant cities of Barcelona and Valencia.
It is endowed with miles of golden sandy beaches and secret coves, all bathed by the clear warm Mediterranean sea.
Spectacular backdrops of mountains run into orchards of orange, lemon, pear and fig trees finally arriving at the typically Spanish resort of Alcossebre where strict building laws have kept development low rise and tasteful.
Here you will find a vast selection of both local and international restaurants, bars and shops offering superb value for money products

The Alcossebre area

Alcossebre is a small Spanish village, situated in the Costa del Azahar, which is midway between Barcelona and Valencia. This area is well renowned for its orange and almond groves. In January/February the almond trees come into blossom and in May it's 'Orange Blossom Time'. It also boasts one of the largest Natural Bird Sanctuaries complete with hides for viewing. To the north you will find the picturesque towns of Benicarlo, Peniscola, and Vinaros. To the south you have Benicassim which has a large Waterworld Park and Castellon which is excellent for shopping. Peniscola is a beautiful town full of history; they filmed 'El Cid' there amongst the castle walls and on the white beaches. Vinaros is renowned for its seafood dishes and in February they have a carnival which is on a par with 'Mardi Gras' in Rio, really well worth a visit at that time of year. A 45 minute drive north is Port Aventura (http://www.portaventura.es) which has a full sized Universal Theme Park.

These times are using the A7 toll road, you can use the N340 local (non toll) road but add 30-40 mins to your journey for that.

“Well equipped apartment in a great location” We stayed in this apartment in August 2012 for 9 days with our children. We travelled to Alcossebre by car and found the apatment easily as the owner had provided detailed instructions on how to get there. On arrival we were met by an english speaking lady who gave us the keys .we found the apartment to be very well equipped and spacious. It was great to find lots of beach equipment in the cupboard. the location was just a short walk to the beach and there was a large spar supermarket around the corner. the beach in alcossebre was fabulous and was cleaned every night. we would definately book this apartment again.
