"Villa Quina is a lovely place to stay in the Algarve"
It is a spacious, well maintained home, and provides everything you need to enjoy a relaxing holiday. The description of the villa, grounds and swimming pool on the website is very accurate, and the guidance for your stay, and directions for travelling from Faro airport are spot on. We liked it being situated away from the more populated holiday spots, but they are near enough to drive to if you feel the need. You have a welcome pack on arrival, which is very helpful and saves you finding the supermarket before you have settled in.
There is a good supermarket and other shops in Silves, which is about 15 minutes drive away. Also, many restaurants. We found the 'O Alambique', which is a short drive from the villa on the road to Silves, particularly good.
It is definitely good value for money, and an experience that I hope to repeat.

We had a lovely stay in this gem of a villa. The villa offers a stunning lay out which is both generous and intimate at the same time. We as a family with young children found the villa clean and it had all home comforts after a hard day of sunning yourself by the pool. We would definitely visit again and strongly recommend villa quina.

"Good value for price. Excellent garden and swimming pool."
We had a good holiday time at Villa Quina. The property has very good conditions for large families or groups. The outdoor area (garden, swiming pool and barbecue) has indeed exceeded our expectations. Villa Quina is a good place to relax far from the crowded central Algarve.

"Most Memorable holiday of 2013, fantastic Villa, amazing location!"
What an amazing week we picked up our rental car and found the Villa easily with the directions provided. I think that a car is essential, but we we used a taxi for short trips in the evening.
Villa Quina exceeded all of our expectations, the location was far more beautiful than we had imagined with views of a lovely golf course and orange groves. The gardens and the pool were very well maintained and the Villa was spotless. All of the extremely spacious rooms were en-suite with both baths and extremely powerful showers, and all had private balconies. There were three couples in our party of seven, and the layout of the property allowed the opportunity for individuals to have their own space. We were spoilt for eating areas, as there was a large dining table inside, and a dining area on the front terrace, and a lovely raised BBQ area with great views for the evening. The villa has a very homely and traditional feel but also had all of the home comforts including a dish washer and a washing machine, and a very nice cleaner who popped in every other day. We have a 2 year old toddler and found the property to be very safe and secure and child friendly.
We spent a lot of time at the Villa relaxing by the pool, and enjoying the BBQ and found food shopping was very easy using the supermarket in Silves which was a 15 min drive away. The Town of Silves was a nice mix of the old and new, shops and historic sites, the Castle is certainly worth a visit and costs only a few euros. There are a lots of great local places to eat or simply have a drink and watch the world go by, we would particularly recommend the seafood!!
We came across a new local bar/restaurant with great live music about 15 min walk along the main road back towards Algoz by the train station, and spent a lovely afternoon enjoying the music and chatting to the locals in the sun in the large garden at the back, from the outside this blue painted bar looks tiny, but its a real gem!!
Going further a field, we had a lovely day at Lagos admiring the Marina and the little boutiques, and a a great day out at Villa Moura which has great restaurants, bars and an opportunity to see how the other half live!!! One of our best days out was the trip to the Water Park Splash and Slide, fantastic day, every kind of slide you could imagine and reptile and bird shows, very clean and a great section for toddlers! There is a slightly closer park called Aqua Land, but this does not open until June.
We are already planning our return trip for next summer and have decided to make it annual trip. i can not recommend the Villa highly enough, its a real find and it is amazing value for money. We loved and can not wait to get back there!!
