This large and spacious villa offers the unique setting for days around the pool and evenings dining and drinking on the veranda. Ideally situated only 10 minutes away from San Roque and Sotogrande marina, there is plenty to keep you occupied and lots to explore.
Casa Orquidea boasts an open plan split level accommodation with spacious rooms and beautiful high ceilings. All bedrooms are en-suite with bath or shower facilities. Guests can enjoy opening the large patio doors from this house leading out onto the terrace which is furnished for outdoor living. All furniture in the reception rooms is tasteful and of high quality and offers guests all home comforts needed for an enjoyable stay.
The modern kitchen is equip with all appliances which would be expected from a property of this standard. This includes an American Fridge Freezer with ice dispenser, a dishwasher, a hob/oven, microwave and also large top loading washing machine and tumble dryer.
The bedrooms are split level from the hallways-two on the lower floor and two on the upper floors All of the bathrooms are to a very high standard, contemporary in design and elegantly tiled in marble. The Master bedroom on the lower floor is fitted with a large array of wardrobes, a fitted dressing table and super king size bed. There is also a twin room adjacent on the same floor. Bedrooms on the upper floor consist of one king size and another twin. Both of these rooms have wardrobes and open onto the balcony from which you can see views of Gibraltor and on a clear day, Morocco.A hair-dryer and a set of towels are provided in each bathroom.
As an addition to the house, there is a games room, containing a spinning bike, dart board and pool table. For family entertainment, there is a also selection of board games, videos, books and CDs.
For nights when you may decide to stay in, the family room leading off the sitting room has a TV, DVD and video player and I pod docking station. All major British channels are available.
Finally, the villa has its own private swimming pool surrounded by terrace and grass. There are 8 sun loungers and pool towels are also provided.

There is an excellent Supercor supermarket at Pueblo Nuevo along with many bars, restaurants, local shops and a bank all within 10 minutes.
An arrival pack can be arranged together with additional cleaning and laundry.
There are 6sets of golf clubs available for use of the guests.
The Andalucia region
Costa dell sol has sunshine all year round with the months of December, January and February becoming unpredictable and varying in temperatures from 10 - 20 deg c. during the day and 4-10 deg c at night.
The rest of the year generally sees temperatures between 20-30 deg c and between May and October virtually guaranteed Hot weather in the upper 20's early 30's.
At the southern end of the Costa Del Sol is a Spanish Charm away from the traditional tourist areas of Marbella and Porto Banus yet a short drive away if you fancy a change.
Nearest beaches at Alcaidesa, Sotogrande and Torreguadiaro. Sailing at Alcaidesa and Sotogrande. Wind surfing at Tarifa 40 mins away. Duquesa, Puerto Banus and Marbella is within 30 mins. The Sotograde Estate and marina is a quiet, peaceful and safe place to relax away from the urbanisation of the Costa del Sol. A New shopping centre at Sotogrande and Alcaidesa is due for completion at the end of 2008.
Alcaidesa, San Roque, Le Canada, Almenara, Sotogrande, Le Reserva, Duquesa golf courses and the world famous Valderama are all within easy reach. Two sets of golf clubs are available for use at the property.
Gibraltar airport 15 mins. Malaga and Jerez airport 1 hour. Ferry to North Africa 30 mins. Car hire essential.

"A very spacious, comfortable, high quality villa in excellent location"
Used this villa as a base for a golfing holiday in the excellent Costa del Sol/South of Spain area. Very easy to book. This very spacious villa is exactly as described and is fitted out to the highest quality and maintained to a very high standard. The location on an elevated section of the secure Alcadeisa development provides perfect views over the coast and sea, with the Rock of Gibraltar clearly visible.
No doubt about recommending this villa.

"Luxury accomodation with views to die for"
My friends/family and I have visited Casa Orquideia on two occasions in the past two years. The villa is truly outstanding and totally exceeded all our expectations of a luxury holiday home. From the moment we arrived we were amazed by the quality of the furnishings and fixtures and the thought and care the owners had taken to ensure their guests had a wonderful holiday. Not only had they provided a comprehensive guide of local restaurants,shops,taxis,places of interest, doctors etc they had also thought of so many other small but vital things that make all the difference whilst away from home: a first aid kit, a sewing kit,suntan creams,nappies, dvds, books, spare lightbulbs,torches, umbrellas, a few bottles of wine operated on an honesty bar policy policy ( replace what you use etc)-It was obvious that a lot of thouht had been given to what their guests might need particularly during their first day or two -(Thank you - the nappies,torch and wine were very much appreciated by us!! And we did replace them) The villa itself is absolutely stunning. Huge rooms with high ceilings throughout. Four double ensuite bedrooms all have doors with direct access to the beautiful pool or with a balcony overlooking the pool and amazing uninterupted views out to sea.The kitchen is fabulous with everything you could possibly need and we cooked several meals although most evenings we chose to use the huge poolside BBQ as the weather was glorious.There is also a small gym with several pieces of equipment although only one of our party was brave (mad) enough to visit during our stay.She was very impressed however. The rest of us simply enjoyed the beautiful pool/verandah and surrounding gardens. We loved this villa and will definately be booking again. Sotogrande with its beautiful marina is very close by as is Gibraltar.This is a great area if you want to get away from the usual hustle and bustle of the main Costa del Sol particularly if you have any golfers in your party.
