To compliment the views, internally the Penthouse offers spacious accommodation equipped for home from home living, with 3 well appointed bedrooms and a high vaulted Living/Dining room featuring 2 sliding glass patio doors creating picture windows displaying the golf course, beach, sea, rock of Gibraltar and beyond. Below it is an equally luxurious 3 bedroom apartment with its own kitchen, large lounge and patio.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

The Costa del sol has one of the best climates in Europe with over 300 days of sunshine each year.

The exclusive Alcaidesa Development is on the West end of Costa del Sol between the beautiful marina at Sotogrande and Gibraltar.It is the only golf development in costa del sol which is sea-side of the busy main road which runs along the coast in Spain. There is no through traffic making it pleasant walking to either the beach or golf club. Duquesa , Estopona and several traditional Spanish villages are only a short drive away.

BEACH -A safe sandy blue flag beach.
Food and Drink - In the summer season there is a beach bar which provides delicious barbecues during the day and serves quality restaurant meals in the evenings. There are several other restaurants near the main square, the golf club and La Vista which provides top quality food and a panoramic view across to the rock of Gibraltar. The port of Sotogrande is 10mins drive away and has a good choice of excellent restaurants and shops.

GOLF -
Both Alcaidesa courses (Links & Heathland) are superb courses and have the added advantage of being a 10 minute drive from other prestigous courses; San Roque (Old & New), Soto Grande, La Reserva & Valderama,

GolfLessonsPGA is holistic golf coaching (swing, mind and body) by a UK PGA pro, just the thing to combine with a golfing holiday, I'm sure they can help you put together a perfect package just for you.
If you are interested in playing the Alcaidesa courses while staying at the Marina I can usually get some fantastic discounts.
A new club house (opened in July 2007) offers excellent practice facilities, a pro shop and a first class restaurant serving bar snacks and formal meals.

SAILING - Trips on a skippered sailboat and a wide selestion of sailing courses can be booked for your stay in the apartment. Please e-mail for details.

GIBRALTAR (15 mins drive) is a must for visitors. Explore the vast network of WW 2 tunnels in the rock and watch the famous apes. Excellent duty free shopping and very good restaurants. Boat trips to see dolphins (and sometimes whales).

SOTOGRANDE (10 mins drive) Famous for its polo fields (instruction in the sport available) and a fabulous marina complex with restaurants, shops and night- life.

TARIFA (30 mins drive) Famous for wind-surfing and kite surfing. For the more adventurous Morocco is just a 30 min. ferry ride from here.

BAHIA PARK (20 mins drive) Waterpark

Many beautiful old Spanish cities/towns like Sevilla with it's famous Giralda Cathedral, Ronda with an enormous historical legacy and spectacular gorge, Jerez, Tarifa the old fishing town & wind surfers paradise and the local old town of San Roque to name but a few.

Alcaidesa is located close to Gibraltar and Sotogrande on the SW point of Spain .
It is easily accessed by car from Gibraltar (15 mins), Malaga (60 mins ) and Jerez (60mins) airports.

Flights to Malaga are available all year round and are usually very reasonable. Most of the budget airlines fly in daily , often with more than one flight.
Monarch fly into Gibraltar from Manchester and Gatwick and Ryanair fly to Jerez from Stanstead.
