This luxury apartment new in February 2008 is in the perfect position : a short walk from the long sandy beach of Alcaidesa and surrounded by the famous links golf course. The apartment has a private south facing patio with table and chairs for al fresco dining and is set in beautifully landscaped gardens with a lawn in front of the property. There are 4 large (25 metre) communal swimming pools. Alcaidesa has several good restaurants and the golf club also serves excellent meals and snacks.
A 2 or 3 day trip on a 38-ft skippered sailboat can be arranged during or after the end of your stay.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
The Costa del sol has one of the best climates in Europe with over 300 days of sunshine each year.
The exclusive Alcaidesa Development is on the West end of Costa del Sol between the beautiful marina at Sotogrande and Gibraltar. Duquesa , Estopona and several traditional Spanish villages are only a short drive away.

BEACH -A safe sandy blue flag beach. Food and Drink - In the summer season there is a beach bar which provides delicious barbeques during the day and serves quality restaurant meals in the evenings. There are several other restaurants - 2 in the main square, a pizzeria nearby and La Vista which provides top quality food and a panoramic view across to the rock of Gibraltar. The port of Sotogrande is 10mins drive away and has a good choice of excellent restaurants and shops.
GOLF - Discounted green fees for guests in this apartment. Alcaidesa itself has two par 72 courses- the famous links course with fantastic views of the sea and the rock of Gibraltar and a new Heathland course designed by Dave Thomas. In addition it is only 5-10 minutes drive to the world famous Valderama ,San Roque Almenara and Sotogrande courses. A new club house (opened in July 2007) offers excellent practice facilities, a pro shop and a first class restaurant serving bar snacks and formal meals.
SAILING - Trips on a skippered sailboat and a wide selestion of sailing courses can be booked for your stay in the apartment. Please e-mail for details.
GIBRALTAR (15 mins drive) is a must for visitors. Explore the vast network of WW 2 tunnels in the rock and watch the famous apes. Excellent duty free shopping and very good restaurants. Boat trips to see dolphins (and sometimes whales).
SOTOGRANDE (10 mins drive) Famous for its polo fields (instruction in the sport available) and a fabulous marina complex with restaurants, shops and night- life.
TARIFA (30 mins drive) Famous for wind-surfing and kite surfing. For the more adventurous Morocco is just a 30 min. ferry ride from here.
BAHIA PARK (15 mins drive) Waterpark
How to get there
Alcaidesa is located close to Gibraltar and Sotogrande on the SW point of Spain . It is easily accessed by car from Gibraltar (15 mins), Malaga (60 mins ) and Jerez (60mins) airports.
Flights to Malaga are available all year round and are usually very reasonable. Most of the budget airlines fly in daily , often with more than one flight. Monarch fly into Gibraltar from Manchester and Gatwick and Ryanair fly to Jerez from Stanstead. Try www.skyscanners.com to view all available flights and prices.

All profits from the rental of this apartment go towards a charity. This year they are going towards building secure accommodation and a school for children who have been abandoned on trains in India.
A booking deposit of £100 is required for each week booked. Full payment is required 8 weeks before the start of the holiday. A fully refundable damage deposit of £100 is also required at the same time as full payment.
We are happy to consider mid-week arrivals and departures (cheaper air fares mid-week!) and also short or long lettings.
For several families wanting to take a holiday together it might be possible to arrange the rental of another apartment near to this one.
Welcome packs or a full shopping service is available if required. Just send a list of the items you require and we will ensure it is waiting for you (payable locally)
All linen and towels (including beach towels) are included with the rental price. Should you require cleaning or linen changes during your stay this can be arranged.
