Home description

This spacious luxury apartment is a home from home, it is a very secure complex, the complex is only access able with a key. Alcaidesa is a lovely quiet location, but is only a short drive away to the larger resorts such as Marbella and the chic Puerto Banus. Also Gibraltar is a 10 minute drive. if you want that bit of England and your duty free!
Just recently been built it is very fresh and clean. It has 3 double bedrooms so is ideal for a large family or for 2 families to share. It has balconies leading of from every bedroom on to the large terrace and a large terrace area leading of from the living room which is a perfect place to dine al fresco.
The apartment is a five minute walk to the beach, close to all amenities, has a lovely communal pool with a shallow end for the small children. As it is on the 1st floor it has stunning views arcoss the Med and you can also see the famous rock of Gibraltar and Africa. It is also very close to the golf course which again is set just infront of the sea for all you avid golf players.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

.Alcaidesa is situated in the costa del sol just an hours drive away from Malaga airport and 15 minute drive from Gibraltar airport.
It has beautiful sunshine from late April till early October so is ideal for a beach holiday. July and August the temperature is never much below 30c. October to May are idea time for Golfers as the temperature is cooler Alcaidesa has a fantastic golf course which is only 5 minutes from the apartment, also Valderrama golf course is only a 10 minute drive.

On the costa del sol there is lots to do for all different types of holidaymakers. You have lots of lovely beaches, water parks and Theme parks to visit, There are many bars and restaurants to cater for all, you have traditional foods in nearby La linar or San roque where Tapas is second to none, you also have Gibraltar only 15 minutes away where you can get abit of British and most important your Duty Free!
From Gibraltar they also run Daily excursions which will take you to all the neighbouring towns.

Also close by is Marbella for your shopping and the infamous Puerto Banus where you can go Star spotting at the ports lovely restaurants and night life is pretty hot there too!! There is many Markets and festivals going on but is best to get the local paper which will tell you exaclty what is happening at you time of stay. But if you just want a relaxing holiday you need not leave Alcaidesa with its own lovely beach which in the summer months have lovely beach restaurants ( which you must book to avoid disapointment), has it own supermarket and local bar, ideal for windsurfing and sailing. For you serious Windsurfers and kitesurfers there is Tarifa only half and hour away!

How to get there

Malaga offers numerous daily flights to all the major UK airports with BA, Easyjet, Monarch, Flybe etc. I also use www.skyscanner.com which will find the cheapest airline for your time of travel.
From Malaga Alcaidesa village is only a 1 hour drive on the Toll road to junction 124.

Gibraltar offers a very quick transfer, a 15 minute taxi ride from the airport. BA operate daily flights from Heathrow and twice daily from Gatwick in the summer. Coming soon there is going to be a new no frills airline www.flygib.com which will offer flights from Birmingham, bristol,manchester and dublin

The best car hair companies i have found are through www.travelsupermarket.com click on carhire and it will give you the best car hire deals for your time of travel.

The major car hire companies are based at Gibraltar airport although it can be easier to hire from the Spanish side of the border. You can also get a cheap taxi ride from Gibraltar taking 15 min approx.

It has a jacuzzi bath in the en suite bathroom for that added bit of luxury.We can offer a welcome pack included: Tea, coffee, sugar, milk, water, bread, butter, jam, orange juice, table wine, four pack of beer at a cost of 50 euros per pack. So you don't have to worry about those all important essentials when you arrive. Please request when booking.

Refundable deposit for breakages required of 200 pounds which will be returned on inspection of the property after you leave within two weeks as long as there is no damage.
25% of rental fee due to confirm booking, the outstanding balance is due 8 weeks prior to stay all details will be in the booking contract.

Stayed in this apartment in May 2007 and will be returning again late September 2007, great apartment , felt very homely, has all mod cons and has everything stated in the advert. Mr and Mrs Johnstone.

Fabulous apartment, lovely views, great swimming pool for the kids, would highly recommend a stay in this apartment will definitely return. Mr And Mrs Macdougall.

This apartment is very clean and kept to a very high standard. The area of Alcaidesa is one of the prettiest on the whole of the Costa del Sol. I will be returning........Jim and Sarah Faulkner
