This gorgeous 2 bedroom property is located in award winning Balaia Golf Village in Albufeira. It is decorated to reflect the region and to remind you that you are on vacation in PORTUGAL while providing you with conveniences of home. It is located on the garden level with outside space and patio furniture. The living room has a fireplace, cable TV, CD player and it opens out to a terrace. Master bedroom has 2 twin beds with en suite bathroom; it opens to a terrace outside. You are close to shops, beaches and night clubs yet the quiet and serene surrounding makes you feel you are away from all of life madness. That is what a vacation supposed to be.

Albufeira with its metropolitan and exciting nigth life, a bull rink and abundance of shops and restaurants offers every pleasure that is expected from a holiday. A week before Lent, Albufeira enjoys a great festival.
Balaia Golf Village is an award winning establishment settled in close vicinity of Algarve's best beaches and golf courses. Surronded by pine and olive trees it offers the luxury of several swimming pools , a heated pool, Avaranda Restaurant and Bar, 4 tennis courts, a health club containing sauna and jacuzzi , a super market, a gift shop and above all a driving range and 9 holle golf course with golf shop and its own Restaurant/ Bar.
You can take golf lessons by a professional resident.

How to get there

Fly to FARO Air Port, it is about 30 kilometers from Balaia Golf Village. You can take a taxi from the air port and it should cost you about 30 Euros or you can call Balaia Golf village directly, give them your flight information and they will arrange for you to be picked up for a similar charge. If you are driving:
Follow the main exit out of Faro airport. About 5 or 6 Km, take EN125/IC2 west towards Albufeira/Portimao. This is an old road and you'll be on it for 2 or 3 Km. Look for signs to the highway A22 towards Albufeira. Follow A22 for about 20 KM and take the Albufeira exit. There is/was some road construction going on , but simply follow the road for about 2-3 Km, until you come to a roundabout, ( we call them rotaries). At the roundabout you take a left ( 270 degrees) . Go straight. At the 3rd roundabout, take a right (90degrees) follow the road through a shopping area) At the next roundabout take a left (270 degrees) . Balaia will be on your left. Go through the gate , the reception office will be on your left.

There are ceiling fans in bedrooms and hallway keeping the place pleasantly cool. Heating units in bedrooms and dining area keep it warm in cooler seasons. Master bedroom and the Living room open to outside terrace.
We have just renovated the kitchen and the master bathroom. The renovation completed in March 2007.
There is a juicer, a toaster, coffee maker, a microwave oven, a regular oven, fridge with freezer, and a dish washer in the kitchen. A cloth washer is also provided.

Balaia Golf Village offers everything for the golfer: A Golf Academy, with comfortable Clubhouse right there in your back garden, A driving range, putting and chipping greens and Resident Professional offering lessons. The 9-hole executive golf course of Balaia Golf Village is designed to challenge players of all levels.
the open outside space of this property has a peaceful and relaxed feeling, you don't need a car because the resort has everything you need to enjoy your vacation, Balaia Golf Village is about 3-4 kilometers from the 'Strip', (you may walk to it), it is a street full of shops, restaurants and bars, and night clubs. The beach is about 500 meters walk with a beautiful restaurant on it, the resort is within walking distance to many other restaurants and stores (not the Strip). The golf courses of Villamoura are minutes drive from the resort. Albufeira has a bull fighting rink and many beautiful beaches, you can shop, eat and swim in downtown Albufeira, since it is located on the beach, a rare finding. There is a super market, a gift shop, a beauty parlor, an exercise facility, a restaurant, bar, snack bars, 6 swimming pools, a Jacuzzi, 4 tennis courts, one todler pool, heated pool and above all, a driving range and a 9 hole golf course with Golf club, a restaurant and Golf shop, all in the resort of Balaia Golf Village. You can take Golf and tennis lessons offered by professionals at Balaia.

. No pets. No smoking inside the property please, smoking is OK outside. We like to provide a comfortable condition for your family and other families, please treat our place like your own. Please bring your own beach towels, kindly avoid using the towels from the apartment for the pool or the beach. Do not place your wet clothing on the furniture to dry, it damages the polish, a cloths hanger is provided. The check out time is 10AM and the check in time is 4PM, this allows time for cleaning for next guests.

Conditions

NO PETS, NO Smoking inside the property please. Out of consideration for others limit your smoking to outside only.
Please note that the price listed is per week, (we only accept Euro) for instance, 720 Euros per week for the month of June2007 etc. Vacationors must bear the exchange expenses. A deposit of 25% of the rent is required to reserve the place and the rest is due 60 days prior to your arrival plus A refundable security deposit of 200 Euro for possible damages and or breakage. This deposit will be refunded within 20 days after the departure date minus the cost of damage, if any. We are not able to accept credit cards. You need to give us your address for return of your security deposit. These prices cover the use of the property, electricity, water, heat, linens, one cleaning after your departure, and are a great bargain for what the award winning resort of Balaia Golf village has to offer. There is a charge for using Golf facilities, health club, restaurants, beauty salon at the resort. Prices are subject to change without notice prior to confirmation.
If you need other types of furniture, i.e.: high chairs or cot etc. It can be provided for a small extra charge set by Balaia Golf Village. Please inform us of that need when making reservation for this property. The rental price includes cleaning after your departure. Additional cleaning is available at an extra cost with prior arrangement. Fresh linens will be provided weekly. Please bring your own beach towels and do not use the property towels for outside activities.

NB: Prices may be subject to change at the owner's discretion.
Prices given are per week . A 45 Euros discount per week will be considered if booked for 3 weeks or longer off season. In July and August we rent in WEEKLY increments and from Saturday to Saturday, if you desire otherwise, price will be slightly higher to cover our loss.
We require a 150 Euros REFUNDABLE security deposit, which will be returned to you within 21 days of your departure . If there is a damage done by you, the price will be deducted from your security deposit.
Please note: We can only accept Euros and the guests have to bear the cost of conversion of their currency to Euros. If you need a cot, high chair, or other furnitures, notify us and and there will be a small charge associated with it, this charge is set by Balaia Golf Village . Prices are subject to change without notice prior to confirmation of reservation.

1-The vacation was just great its a shame we couldn't have stayed longer. We loved Balaia and the kids visited each and every pool complex as well as the beaches. I managed 4 games of 9 holes and my wife enjoyed more time on the sun bed than we've had for a long time. The apartment was great and just the right size for our family.
Enjoyed the ground floor and Thomas made the most of the grass for his World Cup soccer preparations. Definitely home from home and hopefully we will be calling on you again.
