Built over three levels, the 1st floor accommodates two bedrooms, the dining room and spacious living area, complete with Plasma television and two huge leather sofas. The Modern Kitchen is fully equipped and the gardens and pool areas are perfect for relaxing in the wonderful Algarve sunshine! The 2nd floor gives access to a huge roof terrace for more sunbathing, or some alfresco dining if you so desire! Here you will also find the master suite, complete with walk in wardrobe and another twin bedroom. All bedrooms have en suite.

Albufeira is about 40 km west of the Faro airport, which you can reach easily within half an hour via the highway IP1. Although Albufeira is known as a major tourist resort, it is amazing that you still find hardly any tourists in the old centre. When coming from the Tunnel (every tourist will end up there) turn right and you will arrive at the central place of Albufeira with all its restaurants. From there you may continue through the narrow touristic streets, back to the beach. Shortly before you arrive at the old fish market and "The Ruin" you find a street at your right hand. This will lead you to the old part of Albufeira, from where you have a magnificent view in both directions. The side streets are untouched by tourists and you still may see the local people chatting with each other from their windows.

The town of Albufeira is hugely popular and it's easy to understand why. It has beautiful beaches, a new marina, cafes, bars and restaurants to cater for every taste. Villa Pauline is located to the east near the famous 'strip' in Areias de São João, where nightclubs, discos and bars come to life in the evening. There is always lots going on in this lively area and there is a huge selection of places to shop, eat and drink! A car really isn't necessary, as you will find all amenities close by. A 'tourist train' runs from the 'strip' into Albufeira 'old town' every 20 minutes and will cost about 2€; if you don't fancy the walk to or from the beach - a taxi will only cost around 4€. For a fun day out try Aqualand or Slide and Splash Water Parks within 20 minutes drive. Cliff Richard Vineyard tours is also just 10 minutes away. Excursions can be booked with transport for all day trips.

From the moment of booking this villa until the week after arriving back home, I compliment Gerard, the owner for his outstanding customer service, knowledge and facilities offered to us. There were 8 of us in total including a couple in their early twenties and 2 young teenage girls. The villa was ideally situated close enough to The Strip for the 'youngies' to walk to and far enough away, but close to nice restaurants etc and no noise or rowdiness for the 'olders'. The beach was in walking distance - really no need for a car and The Old Town was just a 4 euro taxi ride away. The villa was perfect.....clean, modern, spacious,extremely well equipped and safe. Everything that you could possibly think you would need was there. The games room with table tennis, pool table, table football and playstation kept the girls entertained, whilst there was plenty of outdoor space in the sun and shade if needed. The covered outdoor eating area was great for lazy lunches by the pool. I really cannot fault this villa at all. I would strongly recommend booking this villa for your holiday as you would not be disappointed, we just wish we had stayed longer!! |

Booking was very simple, owner always available to answer questions and even arranged transfers. Very accessible from Faro - 30 mins down the motorway. Villa is beautiful, full kitchen, large dining room, large lounge with TV and DVD. Outside area is very private, large pool, dining area shaded, plenty of sun beds. We even sharpened our ping pong skills in the games room ! Amenities very close, nearest shop is 50 metres and only 10 minutes to the strip but somehow somehow this villa is also very quiet and private. Couldn't recommend highly enough |

The villa was perfect it had every home comfort you could possibly want, the pool area was very comfortable and every area was spotlessly clean. You could take a 10 minute walk to the bars and restaurants, a small supermarket was close by for your every day essentials. If you need a large supermarket it is best to hire a car or take a taxi as this is too far to walk to. The villa was by far the highlight of the holiday and we would like to pick it up, take it home and live in it! |

This Villa is all you could wish for, for a stay in the Algarve! Location is amazing, not quite on the strip, but close enough. Spacious, well kept, and had everything you could ask for! Had an amazing time at this villa, and I am returning again this year, it was that good.

The villa is absolutely beautiful, we were all astonished on arrival just how perfect it was and we would like to say that during our week here it never let us down. Booked Villa Pauline for a family holiday to celebrate my 50th Birthday in August. Total party of 8 with the youngest only 3 months old. Found the Villa on another website and during January must have spoken to Gerard about 10 times - he was so helpful and never tired of my endless questions. Kept in touch over the months and watched the video endlessly.
Gerard arranged the transfer complete with baby seat and when we arrived at the villa we were all pleasantly surprised. It is far more spacious than can be appreciated on the video. It's 3 twin bedrooms are spacious but the master suite is FANTASTIC - a large bedroom with dressing room off it that leads to the bathroom. The villa is furnished to a high standard and the living rooms are very spacious and even fully occupied everyone can find space to be on their own. Gerard and his family have tried to think of everything that will make your stay enjoyable - hairdryers in every bathroom , plenty of wardrobe space, maid service half way through the week ,safes and plenty of glassware.
We had taken our own travel cot but Gerard had also provided one (normal travel cot and sheets ) as well as a high chair.
Villa is in the Montechoro area just off the top of the strip - so you are near enough to walk to the restaurants and clubs - but also far enough away from the noise.
Only 1 moan - A week wasn't long enough !!!!

Our party of 10 have recently returned from a fabulous stay at Villa
Pauline.....What can we say? From the outset the service you provided us
has been first class; from the prompt and friendly booking service to the
level of communication we had with you prior to our arrival in Albuferia,
you were only too happy to assist us in order to ensure we had a great stay
(and we certainly did!) Villa Pauline was the ideal accommodation to suit the
2 families who visited, furnished and decorated to the highest of standards
the villa was amply spacious, well equipped with every utility we could ask
for and ideally situated close to all the local attractions, restaurants and
bars. We enjoyed lazy days next to the beautiful pool and terrace areas and
relaxing evenings cooking at the BBQ.....a far cry from the crowded, noisy
hotel pools and restaurants we've been used to in previous years. We cannot
thank you enough for all your help......we will be only too delighted to
recommend you to our family and friends and will certainly return to villa
pauline on any future trips to the Algarve (hopefully in the not too distant
future).

I am writing to say how much we and the other member's of our party (8 in all) enjoyed staying at Villa Pauline.You will recall that we were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary (with children and partner's)and therefore we hoped that in the circumstances all would go well.Villa Pauline surpassed in every way all our expectations.
We were all amazed at the amount of space available which not withstanding the size of our party meant that everyone could "get lost" at any time if required.The website is very good but everyone agreed that it could not convey just how spacious the Villa was actually.Each double room with individual air conditioning was marvellous.All the arrangements for transfer's went like clockwork and we are coming under pressure to repeat the event in 2011!!.

Our family of four stayed at Villa Pauline for the first two weeks of July with another family of four.
Gerard had arranged transfers for us from the airport, and even though our flight was a little late getting in, the driver was there patiently waiting for us. The minibus used for the transfer was excellent, with plenty of room for eight of us, and all our luggage, and i would certainly reccomend them.
When we arrived at the villa, it was even nicer than it looks in the photographs, very clean and nicely decorated. All the bedrooms are an excellent size, with more than enough storage, and each of them having a bathroom was perfect, especially when you are sharing with another family, it gives you a good deal of privacy.
The kitchen was well equipped, and we made so much use of the toasted sandwich maker that i have had to buy one since arriving home! For the first time we cooked on holidays, making use of both the kitchen and the bbq outside.
One of the restaurants we did eat at was The Cottage which is in the little square at the top of the strip, and for value and taste it was excellent.
The pool area was very spacious and i liked the fact that there were umbrellas for shade if needed, as not all villas have these. The sitting area and eating area outside was excellent as well, and quite often after an evening out the children would either watch tv or jump into the pool, and the adults would have sat outside with a bottle of wine, and it was very relaxing.
Location wise, the villa was perfect, only two minutes walk from the supermarket (facing Erins Isle bar), and no more than five minutes from the top of the strip. You really dont need a car, as everything is close by.
We went on a day trip to Seville which was very enjoyable, and also went on the Cliff Richard vineyard tour. This is beside a huge shopping complex, so you could combine the two if needed
The old town is lovely, and well worth a visit, it was lovely wandering round the little back streets. We took the little train once, which cost us 14 euro return, and took taxis the next time, which cost 9 euro return.
I have stayed in villas before, and this was by far the best, in terms of location and cleanliness and space (for the first couple of days my husband kept getting lost in the villa it is so big!), and i would highly recommend it. Gerard is a pleasure to deal with, and always on hand if needed.

Beautiful Villa
Just returned from a 9 day stay in Villa Pauline and all I can say is WOW!!
This is a fantastic villa. Beautifully finished to a very high standard. We first arrived tired and stressed from the ash cloud uncertainty. But as soon as we entered the villa the mood instantly changed. The photos do not do this place justice!!
We had 2 small children with us and the villa was perfectly suited to them (and us). With 4 large double bedrooms, all with en-suite there was loads of choice.
There is a wardrobe in the hall which we found very handy for housing all the kids swimming gear.
The rooms are huge.. just huge.... Class kitchen and there's also a BBQ so we cooked and stayed in a good few nights as the quality of the place is just brilliant.
The roof top terrace and the dining table beside the pool are great for dining and a few drinks. The pool is very private - completely walled in and is also a sun trap with plenty of sun loungers. It was so refreshing waking up every morning to such a relaxed and chilled out atmosphere.
Location wise its a 3 minute walk to Erins Isle Irish pub/newsagents/supermarket/start of the strip. About 30 minute drive from Faro airport.
You would never know you are so close to everything as at night you could hear a pin drop.
I could go on and on... I have already booked again for next year so the proof is in the pudding!!!
Also just have to give Gerard a mention.. what a gentleman to deal with, always available, top-top man.

Well, what can I say?! Villa Pauline was absolutely amazing.
From the decor, to the pool, to the location – I can’t fault any of it.
For the nights we wanted to stay in, we had a massive modern
kitchen to cook in, a lovely dining room to eat in and Sky TV to help us relax
afterwards.
For going out, we were a 5-10 minute walk away from the
Strip and a 5-10 minute drive away from the Old Town (never more than €5).
Gerard was a delight to deal with and just a phone call away
if there were any questions.
I’d recommend this villa to anyone, from groups of friends
to families as it caters for everyone. I’ll definitely be recommending it to my
friends and family.

Having just returned from a holiday to Albufeira in September 09 the beautiful sunshine, great food and accommodation was second to none. Our accommodation Villa Pauline was superb, large, spacious and the cool interior was great.
The Villa is decorated throughout with a touch of class and lacked for nothing. All the bedrooms were en suite, with all opening up to the outside. The pool area was very spacious, private and was soaked in sun all day long. The Villa is within walking distance from any amenity you would need. The Villa is a 5 min walk from the main strip and about 10 mins from the beach, so car rental is not a must.
This Villa is a great location for all age groups and families. No photos or review could do this place justice, you must see it to believe it! The company was great to deal with and I would highly recommend this Villa for a luxurious holiday in the sun!!

we pulled up at the front gate of this fabulous villa and even the taxi driver was speechless!! going through the front door was like something out of MTV Cribs.
The villa is beautifully furnished and very thoughtfully furnished. the large plasma tv in the leather furnished living roomv(V large) even showed Uk and Sky channels.
our young kids had a blast by the pool, completely walled in and very safe. the sun deck captures the sun all day long but has enough shaded areas for a break from the heat.
for once there was no fighting for the 'good' bedroom, all rooms are en suite and plenty of space and storage.
the villa has a fully fitted kitchen which made it handy for lunch times and nipping in for the all important cold beer. every appliance imaginable was in there and the strip with all the bars and restauarants was a short walk away, but you'd never realise it was so close as the villa seems secluded and very private.
cant recommend this place highly enough. it was perfect for our family, we never had to worry about the kids, everything was on the doorstep and the pictures we brought home turned our friends and family green with envy. this place is top of the list for the next adventure.

Conditions
1. Weekly rental prices are inclusive of utility charges.
2. Clients must provide their own beach towels.
3. Cot and high chair are available,could you please ask for them before arriving?
4. Your accommodation is reserved from 3.00pm on the day of arrival. On the morning of your day of departure we ask you to vacate by 11.00 am to give the maid time to prepare the property for the next arrivals.
5.Villas are reserved exclusively for the people named on the booking. No other persons are permitted to stay at the accommodation unless this has been agreed in writing and appropriate payments made.
6. The property may be reserved subject to availability, upon receipt of a deposit of 25%.
7. Final payments must be received eight weeks prior to your arrival date or at the time of booking if your arrival date is within this period. If the payment terms are not observed the booking may be cancelled and our cancellation terms imposed. (but we will let you know)
8. We strongly recommend that you take out holiday, medical and cancellation insurance.
9. Should you cancel your booking, written notification must be received from the person who made the booking. The following charges will apply:
-Cancellations by you or any other member of your party must be in writing
Calculated from the date we receive your notification, cancellation charges are as follows:
Up to 9 weeks before arrival - loss of deposit
7 - 8 weeks before arrival - 50% of total cost
5 - 6 weeks before arrival - 75% of total cost
4 weeks or less before arrival - 100% of total cost
An administration fee will be charged on all refunds
10. A refundable damage deposit of £250 - €300 , is payable in your balance. This will be sent back to you two weeks after you return if there is no damage to the property.
