About the home

Whether you are a sun lover, a keen golfer or just a family looking for a relaxing family holiday, the Algarve has the answer. The Sesmarias is a luxury villa, just the right place to start your Portuguese adventure.

The villa is not on a complex so you can have a quiet holiday, but if you wish to experience more night life you can travel to Albufeira which also has a marina. There are water parks and the Zoo Marine which has lots of animals, they specialize in Dolphins which you can swim with. Great experience and a good day out. If you want to find more things to do, our villa management will contact you and inform you more about the area.

The nearest beaches are Sao Rafael and Coelha about 7 minutes walk away, there are also 5 other beaches you can walk to, so that you can sit in the sun having lunch, watching the sea.

Facilities

We have villa management not fare from you, they will visit you to make sure everything is OK.

We have maid service 5 days per week, bed linen and towels are provided. The villa is completely walled and the front gate locks plus a safe.

8 sunbeds with mattresses, outside dining that seats 8, the pool is 9+4 with built in steps in shallow end, pool shower.

Further details

We ask for 25% deposit of the rental cost, the rest is paid 6 weeks before you travel.

We must have booking forms completed and signed with all names and addresses of your party for insurance company's.

We take a breakage deposit of a £150.00 which is refundable within 28 days of your return.

Cots, high chairs, food packs, transfer from airport, anything the villa management provides is payable to them.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

Shopping/ The Algarve shopping mall is on the outskirts of Guia N125, 10 minutes drive.

Water Parks/ Slide and Splash, Zoomarine water theme park plus there are lots different animals plus Dolphin shows, you can book to swim with the dolphins as well which is a great experience.

West coast Cape St Vincent is ruggedly beautiful and there are lots of tourist trips to the Monchique Mountains.

The old town of Guia has lots of good restaurants specialising in chicken piri piri, only 10 minutes drive away.

Silves is an old moorish town has with interesting architecture and a castle that is well worth a visit.

The Albufeira / Sesmarias Albufeira area

Beaches are very good and very family friendly, with beach restaurants as well as life guards on the beach. The nearest golf course is a 20 minute walk away at Salgados, or there is a new golf coarse near Silves, a 20 mins drive.

Albufeira has a marina and the old town is interesting to walk around, only a 5 minute drive away.

For markets and festivals there is a local paper in English which tells when they are on.

Low cost airlines such as Easyjet, Air Lingus, Ryan Air, Thomson Fly BA and other airlines regular flights into Faro.

Transfer from the airport can be arranged a mini bus or taxi, I can arrange a car to be dropped at the villa, there are many car hire companies at the airport, it is cheaper to per-book I use Auto Jardim and you can also book a car from our villa management, Faro airport is about 30 minutes drive from the airport.

Car not essential as you can walk to supermarket and some restaurants and bars, plus beaches

The owner will provide you with maps how to find Villa Sesmarias and where keys are left.
