About the home

This beautiful apartment and complex is only moments away from the stunning beach on the outskirts of old albufeira square.The apartment has easy access to supermarkets ,bars and cafes in the cobbled streets of the old town.The old town square is a typical Portuguese with its quaint houses and restaurants some dating back for centuries.The apartment benefits from air conditioning through out satellite/cable tv with a large flat screen tv in the living room which leads onto a private balcony.Within the living room is an american style fitted kitchen with a dishwasher ,washing machine an oven and hob.There is a infinity pool cascading from the top pool to the lower pool with a childs pool in the landscaped secure complex gardens.The complex although quiet is only 15 minutes from the new part of albufeira and the famous strip, the strip has over 100 bars and night clubs in a 1/2 mile and is very active.The complex can offer the best of both worlds the romantic holiday as its exclusive for guests only and is beautifully set out.The location offers the full on holiday with the new part of albufeira being only 15 minutes away but then leave it behind returning to the exclusive complex.The square has a vast array of international restaurants one being atrium,casa de fonta,the royal orchid Thai restaurant all giving a very warm welcome to their guests and serving excellent food.
The beach links up with olhos de agua (3 kms away) and armacao de pera and is golden sand stretching for over 8 kms.The towns of olhos de agua and armacao de pera have typical fishing villages restuarants and are an excellent day out.There is a supermarket just outside the complex only 20 metres away supplying all you need.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

The Algarve has over 100 miles of golden sandy beaches and the larger ones have lifeguard patrols through out the summer months starting in may.Most of the beaches have been awarded the blue flag of Europe which means not only is the beach clean so is the water.The beach restaurants serve excellent fresh food straight from the ocean and cold drinks all year around and most of them hire sun loungers and parasols.
The bigger beaches have all water sports on offer and charge for hiring parasols and loungers.The Algarve is also know for its climate which is good for about 300 days a year with plenty of warm sunshine from early to late.The local towns also have strong links with the Romans and Moors and some date back to 2000BC.

The Albufeira / Central Albufeira area

Albufeira is known for its nightlife which is within easy reach of the apartment as the old town square is only moments away.The old town nightlife revolves around the main square with its quaint houses and restaurants
of all international cuisine some restaurants to visit are Casa de fonte,Royal thai garden,Atrium,just to name a few.Then from the square to go onto one of the most beautiful beaches in the Algarve fishermans beach this beach is the most famous in the Algarve ,hosting some of the largest internationaly known music artist from around the world.The beach also links up with two local villages ,Olhos de agua,Armacao de pera both these villages are known for their beaches and restaurants.Through out the summer months there are festivals held all along the coast one being the sand festival in pera which opens june closes in october.This festival attracts artists from around the globe building sand sculptures up to two storeys tall open 7 days a week from 10.00 am to 10.00pm entry fee 7 euros.The main attraction is the Zoo Marine with its interactive dolphins and water slides and animal shows open from march to october open from 9.00am to 9.00pm supplied by a free bus.
The largest water park is called aqualand and is great fun for all the family of any age and supplied by free bus service.There are daily boat trips out of the new marina in albufeira for fishing, dolphin watching or just cruising along the coastline.The new part of albufeira is only a 15 minute walk and you can stroll along the strip with its night clubs bars and restaurants of all styles.The strip is open all the year around offering a wide variety of entertainment to suite all ages.The main beach has all the water sports you could want and you can hire sun loungers and parasols for a small daily charge.

“lovely apartment” no complaints at all.used the airport pick up service(maybe a bit more expensive than booking it yourself but no hassle).Met at apartment and shown around and how to work everything.Everything spotless and of good quality-plenty towels and good shower.Washing machine,dishwasher,fridge freezer,safe,iron and hairdrier.Beds very comfortable.At the end of the block so quite a few people walking past but maybe a bit more privacy than the apartments overlooking the pool although you can still see the pool and the seaThis apartment gets the sun in the morning but you can move to the pool area for sun later if you want.Not many sunbeds but not too much of a problem when we went.Easy walk down the steps to old town-bit harder coming back up but wouldn't put us off going again-you can always get a taxi! Wouldn't really recommend it for 4-sofa bed didn't look that comfortable but ample room for 2. Response: The shuttle service is direct so no dropping off on route no waiting at the airport to be filled .The mini bus waits for you and your fmily then leaves and goes directly to the apartment were we are waiting for you. There are cheaper shuttle buses but you have to wait for them to be filled is it really want you want after a long day i think not
