This striking 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom 2nd floor apartment has a really enormous balcony & fabulous views to open countryside with the sea beyond. It is very conveniently placed so that you can enjoy the peace and quiet of your holiday home in the sun with really inexpensive excellent restaurants nearby.
However, the lively town of Albufeira is just a short walk and easily reached if you are looking for some night-life. In the opposite direction, also a short walk, is Olhos D'Agus which has a very beautiful beach.
There are many other beaches within walking distance.

There is a high spec Fully Fitted kitchen including built in oven & hob, dishwasher,w/machine and microwave.The furnishings are stunning & chic & include a hand crafted solid wood dining table and 6 chairs with matching TV unit & coffee table, a Divani designed 3 seater caramel double sofa bed & a matching armchair, all located in the large L shaped open plan lounge/dining room.
The spacious master bedroom has a Portuguese style double bed & a matching 5 drawer chest of drawers & bedside cabinets. The second bedroom is furnished with 2 Portuguese style single beds & a matching 5 drawer chest. There are 2 built in wardrobes.
The en-suite bathroom has a white porcelain 5 piece suite. The second bathroom has a 4 piece suite. There are 4 patio doors from the kitchen, the lounge and both bedrooms all leading to the impressive balcony.
The apartment will sleep 6 people comfortably but it would also be possible to sleep 2 small children as well. If a cot is required then this can be supplied. All the patio doors leading to the balcony have superior white blinds that are closed electronically.
There is also a concealed wardrobe and drawers in the hallway in order to hang and store clothes.

The complex is very well maintained with an experienced management agency in charge to make sure that the grounds are maintained and manicured to a high standard, that the pool is scrupulously clean, that all sunbeds are in working order and that the shower and toilet areas are pristine.
They also maintain the common areas and lifts to ensure that these also are clean and in good order.On the spacious balcony there is a quality garden table and 6 chairs as well as 2 sun beds and parasol.
Using the lift or the 2 flight of stairs you can access the gardens and two pools via ornamental paths.
The terraces around the pools are ideal for sunbathing or lying in the shade under a parasol.
There is also secure underground car parking.
Nearby are Waterparks as well as Zoomarine which is set in 8 hectares. Here you will find a marine zoo and shows with emphasis on the preservation of marine life. You can even interact with the dolphins.
Praia Da Oura is famous for 'The Strip'. a street with a huge variety of restaurants, shops, bars and nightclubs. This is situated a maximum of 20 minutes walk from the apartment but there are also free buses that will collect and drop you off near to the apartment at all times of the day and night.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region


From the balcony you have fabulous views of the surrounding countryside which include the many orange trees and olive and carob trees in the neighbouring fields. To the right of the apartment block there are clear views of the sea and the view along the balcony is to the tennis courts and the small short country road which runs to the road where you turn left to Olhas D'Agua or right to Albufeira.
It is just a 5 minute drive to the beautiful blue flag beach of Falesia. The picturesque golden sandy beach of Olhos D'Agua is a 2 minute drive or can be reached in 20 minutes by foot. In the opposite direction to the west are the beaches of Santa Eulalia, a 2 minute drive or 15 minute walk and the nearest beach, Maria Luis is across the country road down the path which also leads to 'Club Med' and this is reached from the apartment by strolling for 10 minutes.
There are many other local attractive beaches in the Albufeira such as Praia de Sao Rafeal and Praia de Castelo to name but two
The Albufeira / Balaia area
The Balaia Golf Course is situated right next door to the apartment and the world renowned Millennium Golf resort and Victoria golf club are nearby as are the courses at the Quinta Da Lago and Vale De Lobo as well as Penina and Sao Lourenzo. Presently there are 28 golf courses within a half hour's drive and there are more under construction.
Balaia Golf Course has its own award winning, testing, executive 9 hole course, with distances ranging from 67 to 160 metres.
There is a driving range, a practice bunker, chipping and putting greens. An impressive club house with a large terrace overlooking the first tee, has a restaurant, reception, pro shop, club hire, trolleys and lockers.
Over the last few years the Portuguese Open has been hosted variously at Penina, Vila Sol and Sao Lourenzo, all of which may be included in the list of top European championship courses. Warm playing conditions and immaculately manicured fairways and greens are the norm in the Algarve. Whatever your level of skills or dedication there is a course for you in the Algarve.
Top European tour players come to the Algarve, both for the Portuguese Open and to enjoy the excellent conditions. There are plenty of golf shops, academies and driving ranges. Albufiera is situated close to three main courses, Salgados, Balaia and Sheraton Pine Cliffs all within five minutes drive. A real golf enthusiasts' paradise!

Many airlines fly to Faro from all UK airports including Flymonarch, Jet2, Easyjet and many more.
I recommend Luis Romeria for car hire because he as always been reliable and is competitively priced.

Thank you so much for such a wonderful apartment. The location is brilliant, just a 5 minute walk to a handful of restaurants, and a 15 minute walk to olhos d'agua which is a perfect family centred resort with bars, restaurants, gift shops and a beautiful little beach which seems to predominently be used by the locals. Albufeira is a 30 minute walk away which sounds a far way, but when it is a lovely sunny evening with lots of people watching to do 'on route' it just whizzes by! The apartment was fantastic, beautifully furnished, light, airy and a perfect base for our first holiday together as a family. The pool and pool area were immaculately maintained, and quiet giving it so much more of a family feel rather than 'fight for your sunbed' that you can get at a lot of package resorts. Booking was easy and the transfers recommended to and from the airport were such a help. All in all I would totally recommend for couples or families wanting a beautiful relaxing break.

Just returned from a fabulous 2 week break in this wonderful apartment. The apt was spotless, the pool area and the gardens were imaculate. The apt was a very nice 2 bed apt with all mod cons including sky tv (which was a bonus for the kids during the mid day sun). The complex was very secure and we all felt safe within the complex. The balcony was brilliant - it was huge and we had the sun on it all morning and in the shade the rest of the day. The apt was in walking distance to many local restaurants which were reasonably price and the food was excellent. You could walk to the beach in approx 15/20mins but only 2 mins by car. Penny (the owner) was wonderful and had email lots of useful information about the apt and the local area, including which restaurants she recommended.
All in all, a fabulous family complex and we can't wait to return in the future

I would just like to say what a lovely apartment this is. All rooms are clean, well equipped and lead out on to the spacious balcony. We had such an enjoyable week here, visiting two local beaches, lounging by the pool and visiting the excellent restaurants nearby. These eateries are just a short walking distance away, which is handy! Penny, as has been mentioned before, was both friendly and efficient with regard to the booking process. A very relaxing week in a fantastic apartment.

I cannot recommend this apartment, the area of Balaia or the service that we had from the owner enough.
The booking process was effecient and we were given a prompt response to all our questions, help booking taxis etc.
The apartment itself is spacious and well laid out - being equipped with all the mod cons that you would need to make you stay enjoyable.
The apartment and the commual areas are spotless clean and well maintained.
The pool was just right - very quiet, never needing to set your alarm to put towels on the sunbeds!!
The apartment is located along a quiet road - ensuring that all those who stay have a relaxing and stress free holiday. However, the restuarants within walking distance are superb. Also nearby is a beautiful beach - with lovely coves that we had to ourselves for the afternoon.
There are two well stocked supermarkets nearby and the local transport is reliable and will take you along the Algarve should you wish.
Within walking distance is a lovely small fishing village - ideal to sit and watch the world go by!
Albuferia is easily accessible by both bus and local taxis (taxi fare 5€). The "Old Town" well worth a visit - The Strip will make you realise how lucky you were to book the apartment in Balaia!

A wonderful apartment, very modern, spacious and spotlessly clean. The complex is also spotless and well maintained.
There is a very large pool and a tennis court which we enjoyed using.
The local supermarket is about 12 minutes walk and is very reasonably priced.
The local bars are friendly and we recommend Jolies bar and restaurant which is about 10 minutes walk from the apartment.
A very relaxing and enjoyable holiday.
We found Penny to be very helpful and would be happy to stay in one of her apartments in the future.
