About the home

Fabulous 5 Star apartment situated on one of the Algarves famous Golf Courses, Salgados and accross the road from one of the most spectacular beachs on the Algarve.

The development is a safe & secure gated complex with 24 hour security. The apartment has easy access to all local amenities, including a wide selection of restaurants, local markets & Shopping Centres.

Accommodation comprises very large living room/dining room, separate fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathroom and guest toilet. A large balcony overlooking the pool runs the width of the Living room and kitchen with full height doors opening onto same. On the bedroom side another balcony runs the width of these rooms and overlooks the gardens, again with full height doors.

Bed linen and towels are changed weekly - cleaning is weekly between 10am - 5pm. Beach towels are not provided. The sun terrace is fully furnished with table & chairs for outdoor dining and sun loungers and sun chairs for relaxing. If you require additional cleaning you can arrange same at the Office for a small additional cost - full details available at the Office. Cots are available for hire, with small fee payable locally.

Internet Access is available at the Club - just enquire and you will be given a password!

There is also the Reserva Ecologica National which is a haven for a multitude of bird species, 43 species of aquatic birds, and is one othe most unique ecosystems of the Algarve.

It is situated just 10minutes from Albufeira, one of the liveliest tourist centres of the Algarve, with its Marina and its numerous entertainment spots and centrally located for everything that the Algarve has to offer ie. Waterparks, watersports, shopping at Algarve Shopping or in Portimao and, sight-seeing in Monchqiue and Silves etc

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

Herdade dos Salgados is located in the Algave Region of southern Portugal and has a spectacular coastline and very friendly people. Children are welcomed in restaurants with open arms and it is the norm to dine en famile! For those interested in exploring the region there is plenty to see from Faro west towards Cape St Vincent at the most westerly - along the coast you can happen on beautiful quiet coves and inland beautiful mountain areas with places like Monchique, Silves & Seville accross the Spanish border. Along the Coast you have the former capital of the area, Lagos, with its beautiful old town to browse and restruants to relax at and then the new Marina area to walk off that lunch!

The Albufeira / Herdade dos Salgados area

There are plenty of tourist attractions for all ages, golf, spas, shopping, horse-riding, waterparks, cycling, Zoo Marine etc. There are very good supermarkets within easy distance of the apartment with a new Specialist Supermarket called Apalonia, opening its 2nd store in the Algarve in nearby Gale last Summer. Great for bar-be-que ready foods, gourmet cheeses, meats & a specialist Take Out Menu. Well worth a visit.

Fly direct to Faro from airports accross the UK and Ireland and arrange car hire at the airport, pre -booking is advised particularly during the summer months. Property is situated 40min west of Faro and clear directions will be provided to assist you!
