The Algarve / Central Algarve region

The best and most popular holiday area on the Algarve is Albufeira with excellent beaches and the most photographed beach rock formation in Europe. Sunshine and warmth being the norm for a long summer season.
For anyone interested in architecture there are numerous ancient sites around.

The old town of Faro, contained within its defensive walls, shows its Moorish influence in the local buildings, and the harbour,once a very busy sea port is still quiet an interesting stroll. Elsewhere golf courses, marinas, water parks, tennis and riding abound.

The Albufeira / Central Albufeira area

The complex is situated next to a well known land mark featuring a windmill. Just 10 minutes walk into town or take the nearby Giro circular bus or tourist train. Ideal for your return journey in the evening.

Apart from the town itself which has some excellent restaurants, many facing onto the old town square, which itself has just been renovated and provides nightly entertainment, there are several beaches nearby.

There is an abundance of golf courses, everywhere, from 5 to 25 minutes away, sports facilities and nearby water parks and not forgetting the ladies, an excellent mall for those ladies who need a little therapy while away.
