Casa do Vale is just a 5 minute drive from numerous sandy coves and larger beaches and a short walk to local amenities such as supermarkets and restaurants. The dynamic resort of Albufeira is just a short drive away as is Guia, famous for its Chicken Piri-Piri restaurants. The villa is ideal for a quiet and relaxing holiday and the large garden with private pool is ideal for families. The villa looks overlooks surrounding olive and orange groves. Car hire is recommended but not essential as it gives you more chance to explore the surrounding area and fantastic local beaches.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

The Algarve is 150km long and is the most south westerly point in Europe. It benefits from over 300 days of sunshine every year and has some of the best beaches and coastline in Europe. The people are extremely friendly and the surrounding countryside is beautiful. The Algarve was dominated for 500 years by the Moors and their influence is still very evident today in the architecture, music and language.
The Algarve is Europe's foremost golfing destination and has over 20 separate golf courses.

Albufeira / Vale de Parra area

Just a 5 minute drive to Albufeira and its lively restaurants and bars/clubs on the 'Strip', or 5 minutes in the opposite direction and you arrive in Guia, quieter and the home of the Piri-Piri Chicken and many other good restaurants which have an abundance of fresh seafood. Algarve Shopping (shopping centre with multiscreen cinema, bowling alley and lots of shops) is also in Guia. Approx 15 minutes drive away are several water/theme parks and Zoomarine, well known for its fantastic dolphin show and definitely worth a visit.
All the beaches are fantastic whether you choose the smaller coves or the long sandy stretch between Gale and Salgados and most have lifeguards throughout the summer season. Fantastic sunsets can be seen over the sea from the many beach restaurants/bars.The larger beaches all have surfing, paragliding and pedelos on offer for hire.
Albufeira Marina is close by and offers many boat trips, scuba diving and waterskiing and has some nice bars and restaurants that are worth a visit.

How to get there

Flight time from UK to Faro 2 hours 40mins.
Easyjet, Monarch & BA have great deals on flights if you book early.
The villa is a 30 minute drive from the airport. Transfers and car hire can be arranged and map available on request.
Taxi from the airport is approx 50euros.

The villa has a very spacious split level living/dining area and large well equipped kitchen. The patio doors take you onto the balcony that overlooks the pool and garden from the living/dining room. The SKY satellite receives most of the freeview channels and there are plenty of books to choose from and some boardgames to keep the children amused so the adults can relax!

The villa has a large garden with a 10m x 5m private pool (shallow depth 1m, deep depth 2m).
Poolside shower.
Barbeque and seating area at the back of the villa which is completely private.
Covered area leading from the living/dining area that overlooks the pool and garden and olive grove opposite. Outside furniture includes 6 sunloungers, 1 large table, 2 small tables, chairs and 2 umbrellas.
The villa is fitted with a security alarm.

A welcome pack is provided which includes basics such as milk, bread, tea, coffee and a bottle of wine.
Towels are changed twice a week and linen once a week
Beach towels are not provided.
Electric radiators or fans are provided on request.
Changeover day flexible out of season

Conditions

Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds.
Provisional bookings held for 7 days, confirmed on receipt of a deposit of £200 per week (non-refundable).
Balance is due 10 weeks prior to arrival date.
Short notice bookings full rental amount is required immediately.
Security deposit of £100 per week, refunded within 2 weeks of departure.
During winter lets there is an optional supplementary charge of £50 per week for logs
